Need advice on neural remap

I actually did my normal yearly remap, based on current suggestions and EVE Mon skill plan (23 INT, 21+1 from implant PER, 17 WIL and 17 CHA). I have 2060 SP/hr rate now and my queue shrinked from 19 to 16,5 days.

I am not planning to hop to bigger ships ASAP, and more focused on building skill set for CovOps/Astero+Drones. I will buy +2/3 INT and WIL implants as soon as I get money from HiSec exploring (if I finally find some sites).

That said, I still have 2 bonus remaps, but these are off-limits for a few month (maybe readjust when I start building skills for Proteus (but not before I finish with Stratios)).

Cybernetics IV - noted. That's for +3 implants? And how much the set is worth?

As for stats, I was thinking along these lines for a couple of month: INT 23, MEM 21, PER 19, WIL 19 and CHA 17. Maybe INT/MEM 22/22.

Plan for a year, hmm, - getting up support and exploration skills is priority. For ships itself - CovOps, T3 and maybe some additional money makers like Ishtar (DED AFKtar) and L4 Dominix. Not that, I think, I will be running missions that much, maybe a backup option for getting ISKs.

Remember that primary stat points have literally double the value of secondary stat points in terms of training time. Willpower is only _primary_ for one of the skills you're looking at (covops), and one of the long-term ships you're thinking about (Ishtar).

Also think about what skills you don't really need to invest into fully to get full use of things: covops doesn't need to be maxed to run an actual covops ship, only if you're using an SB, for instance. This is going to further devalue Willpower for you.

Going over every stat in these terms isn't hard, it's just kinda tedious:

Intelligence:
Primary - Electronics, Engineering, Science, Mech, Navigation, T3 subsystems; mostly low multiplier but a lot of stuff you want at V
Secondary - Social (some good stuff but not vital to V them)
Overall Point investment for your set of desired skills: Moderate to high individually, but also a LOT of skills in there

Memory:
Primary - Drones; a middling number of high-multiplier skills you'll want at V, this is your big hitter weapons-wise as Gallente
Secondary - Science, Electronics, Engineering; not a huge deal you will be Ving a much of the E/E
Overall point investment: moderate to high depending how hard you're rushing drones

Charisma:
Primary - Leadership, social; You don't care about this yet, you'll take a couple to III or IV just 'cause and nothing else
Overall point investment: obvious dump stat

Perception:
Primary - Gunnery, Tech 1 Ship skills; holy **** you need to max everything in both of these immediately
Secondary - Navigation, Drones, Subsystems, T2 ship hulls; third one you could take or leave, first two are pretty vital
Overall: VERY high

Willpower:
Primary - T2 ships; meh
Secondary - E/E, Gunnery, Leadership, Mech, T1 ships; important skills but also mostly low-multiplier.
Overall: While tempting, I'd trend toward just dump-statting it since moving them to int will help more primary skills than Will helps in total

SUMMARY: Dump both charisma and willpower, not just charisma. Look more closely at the individual skills and multipliers for the remaining three. Ad hoc, you're looking at Int being your most important almost hands-down. If you want to be ridiculously min/max, you're looking at an ideal map being +10 Int +2 Mem +2 Per. The issue with that is that it's really ANNOYING, especially as a new player, since there will be individual skills that train significantly slower and thus feel like you're being artificially slowed down, ideal overall or not.

So what I'd recommend is the same Int first, Mem/Per second map, but closer to even so that your skills "feel" smoother. +6/+4/+4 is really what I'd roll with, which comes out to 23 Int / 21 Mem / 21 Per.

However, note that this is _entirely_ contingent on the idea that you want to be pretty fully invested in drones pretty fast, something that I (and everyone else in thread) is getting mostly from your projected selection of ships. I would advise training some Drones and using them in combat a bit before commiting to the remap, because frankly that **** is like herding drunk cats during a football riot and you may do it for a week and decide "**** this, I'm just using guns". At which point an even split between Int and Per is much more easy and ideal.
