Yes, I have figured a way to play without ever losing ships. Yes, that costed me a lot of gameplay - I can't do half the things I want to do because of ganking. For every nulltard (which I were forced to become if I wanted to avoid losing ships ever) this is hardly a problem, but with ganking being so easy and so free, hisec is literally LITTERED with gankturd. When I have to haul things in hisec there are wrecks at every second gate. Checking the killmails for the wreck owners you usually see crapload of free ships - catalysts. From what I see, ganking has completely overran every form of hisec life.

I still do not say "stop ganking", I say "make ganking not free and not stupidly easy". Then we at least will be able to respect that playstyle, while now it is just a fallback for failures who are incapable of anything else.

No games rules were broken. More care should be taken next time. Live and Learn, and don't make the same mistake twice.

If you do not know what you r mistake was? Analyse the parrallels between this occasion and the next occasions, and you will see commonalities which you can then change. Can;t see them simillarities? Then think harder and more out o fthe box to see the alternatives to what you did, but still having the desired outcome.

Like I said earlier, my policy is to treat every post as if it's sincere . Can't do it this time, that post you are replying to CAN'T be for real, mainly because it's way too perfect.

By perfect, I mean "a perfect example of someone who should not be playing EVE because of a pre-existing personality based incompatibility to the reality of the game". The guy claims to leave every time he gets ganked and somehow manages to get ganked a LOT in a game where ganking barely happens.

To beat a dead horse, in EIGHT YEARS of playing I've lost a couple empty shuttles and a single implant-less pod to gankers. If the guy can't understand that he's made himself a huge target by flying stupid and that EVE is a non-consensual pvp game where loses happen everywhere (so being so loss-averse that it makes you quit) , then his problems are way deeper than this video game.

What he's doing is like someone being epileptic (and KNOWING it) choosing to play a game called "Flashy Flashy Strobe lights Online" and wondering why every time he plays he wakes up on the floor next to his computer unable to remember what happened....

Suicide ganking is literally killing the game. Jack told me he quit, because he lost his venture to a ganker. He was only a day old and he got harassed extensively. We need to end this madness. I think the best way to deal with this issue would be if all those who don't like it just stopped playing. No forum posting either. That will send the proper message to CCP! They will learn that suddenly no one provides any content anymore and will finally remove suicide ganking from highsec.

You are a known troll and one of the least sincere posters out there, and your lack of reading comprehension is a known one too.

First, I claimed to leave after getting ganked ONCE. And I never got ganked again, at least not successfully (there were an attempt once or twice, but it was made by complete ***** aka average gankers). Then I returned, but only with a way to never lose ships again if I don't want to, and had no non-consensual losses for a few years already.

If your playstyle only flies free ships which are not ganked, that doesn't make it better than others. This is sandbox. There are playstyles that are stupidly vulnerable to ganking due to game design faults. Ganking itself being free and cretin-proof activity is a blazing example of a design fault. There are ways to play the sandbox while not affecting anyone else. There are ways to play sandbox without losing ships ever. If your eve includes losing ships, don't just assume everyone's eve does. If your fun includes stupid griefing, don't just assume everyone is having fun doing it. To start with, eve combat pvp is just sad ****-tossing to begin with. Some assets get on grid, some numbers are exchanged, some assets disappear. There is nothing exciting about it to everyone who isn't a sad tosser. It's natural that many people avoid that boring part of sandbox, and you belittle them just because they don't want to bore themselves to death with it.

ya know i'd say the OP has learned from the experience. i really hope he has and i hope he puts it to good use and sticks around, we all make stupid mistakes but not everyone learns from them.

I posted it with my main in early 2013 when it happened. Since then your chicken alliance haven't extended that war dec and never decced me again, so I never had the chance to re-evaluate you chickens.
