Currently i use a Logitech m705 laser mouse when playing eve, i also play eve on a wireless connection when i use my laptop and i sometimes wonder if this is putting me at a disadvantage with delay?
firstly i must say i do not appear to suffer from any lag during the game nor do my mouse clicks or movements seem slow to respond, hence my question does anyone use a wireless mouse if so is this preference or other?
if you use a wired mouse would you mind sharing make and model

thanks

WLAN tends to add a bit lag which shouldn't matter. Proud owner of an 11 or 12 year old MX518.

Crucify me now, I'm a fan of the Razer Naga. Having all those buttons right at my thumb makes things easier for me.

For EVE no, it makes no difference to me. Anything works imo. Now for when I play a shooter, I generally used a logitech trackman which is a wired center-trackball. But even for a wireless, the latency is so low that you won't really notice compared to anything wired. I have some wireless mice, little M$ lazor rodents they be, mostly just because they fit into my laptop bag really well.

I'm in it for the money

I use the Razer Naga also. I like to kick back with my feet on the desk and often play one handed with just the mouse.

I have a stockpile of deathadders (the blue ones, not the crappy green ones) that I intend to use forever.

Gigabyte M6800, which is one of the cheapest gaming mouses. Works rather well.
On the other computer, I have this Canyon mouse and I have always found them to be an excellent brand.

Roccat Savu chosen very deliberately for an Eve fingertip mouse user who clicks 25,000 per day.
Extremely comfortable for the heavy amount of clicking I do daily as well as very accurate.

For my primary machine the mouse order went like this

Deathadder 2013.

Before that I had a blue deathadder. This version had issues with crappy switches causing double clicks after a while. Replace the switches with quality components and it's a good mouse. I just haven't had time to deal with it.

Before that was a microsoft intellimouse explorer 3.0.

Before that was a microsoft intellimouse.

Yes over the course of the last 20 years I've gone through four mice. THe intellimouse actually still works for the most part. The plastic is physically worn down where I click and the switch on the left click is double clicking galore.

I have big hands so a lot of mice don't feel comfortable.

I also am brutal on mice as evidenced in my videos of me boxing 12 accounts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ4LByLY5T4

I was a partial clicker in WoW as I'm an oldschool MMO player.

Now on my secondary machines I use whatever mice are available as I usually remote access them when I need to do stuff with them.

Huh? In Anarchy you can play most of the time without touching the mouse.

Q - attack
WASD - move around.

I use the Naos 8200 from Mionix. Most comfortable mouse I've ever used.

WLAN can add significant latency, and it isn't predictable. Go Ethernet if you care about latency.

I use a Contour Lefty I've got huge hands, am left-handed and am now getting arthritis. (Yes, look forward to it.) It's such a pleasure to not have to fiddle with those tee tiny mice anymore.

There just isn't anything that can be said!

In RO and l2 that was totally insufficient space. Especially in RO where battlemode required the use of three rows of keys for all the skills. Besides it's a mute point as neither of those games allowed the use of WASD. UO didn't have WASD when I played neither did meridian 59. The whole WASD concept didn't become a big thing till WOW popularized it years later.

Hell even in Wow that wasn't enough room on the 1-0 key area for my paladin's skills pre-changes. Post changes it kind of got worse in some aspects.

rift? ditto for the builds I used.

I am rather partial to this mouse as well, it is just convenient to have all my commonly used keys under my thumb.

+1 for the razor Naga,

The side buttons are ****ing cool
I have them set up like so:
1-3 first 3 highs
4-6 first three mids
7-9 first three lows
10 shift
11 drones engage
12 ctrl

The only complaint about this mouse is those buttons get pretty manky if you forget to clean them , which is likely as they're a pain in the arse to clean
