But seriously--- Please don't change the Thrasher. It's one of the art design things that made EVE not Jumpgate, Earth and Beyond, or anything else way back in MMO pre-history. The dark, funky, Euro-ish aesthetic of EVE is what made this game stand out as so different. Maybe what put it in MoMA as well. Don't toss out that classic artwork, CCP!

Make a Thrasher Mk. II, maybe. Or make the old Thrasher a nerfed Thrasher Heritage Edition or something. Save the art, it's got a gazillion person-hours of people identifying with it. No use tossing it out, keep it and do some new art, eh?

As much as I like the new Thrasher model (I'll get used to it), I would think both the Burst (a cardboard box with solar panels) and the Talwar (a brick with solar panels) need a once-over more than the Thrasher Straight
Why fix something that is not broken just for the sake of change?

New minmatar ships look GREAT.

They keep that 'older tech' look and 'mix-match' assembly. With the new 'rust' effect, Minmatar finally are getting good looking (but rusty/older) ships.

Been around since the beginning.

It looks more Caldari than Minmatar to me, like a cross between the new blackbird and the jackdaw. The front/bridge area in particular looks more in keeping with one of the new caldari designs.

The images in this post (C, D & E especially) retaining the chunky front end and keeping the ships silhouette intact are pretty promising.

Since when were Minnie ships meant to look like anything other than trash put together for battle? They were not made to look good, they were made for use, simple as that.

Old models are classic, but the new models looks awesome.

Still something bothers me. Remember there is no friction in space, so stop doing aerodynamic models!!

I've seen other designs that in my opinion are better. Someone posted them in a chat but I didn't save the link. There is more info out there somewhere.

The shape should stay, the only thing they could do with Minmatar ships is make them all look more organic like the firetail, would work for the Talwar to be a death beatle
