Opinions are like buttholes. Thanks for coming to GD to show everyone your butthole.

I do not like the men on this spaceship. They are uncouth and fail to appreciate my better qualities. I have something of value to contribute to this mission if only they would realize it. - Bill Frug

It looks Caldari. Meaning it looks wrong.

The current trasher look conveys that it
a. is fast/speedy
b. will f**k you up.

The new does not. It looks caldari and more like a science vessel.

Removal of new the upper part would instantly return the new Thrasher to its old design language while still keep the new modernized look, imo.

I assumed that picture was showing two Thrashers, with the top one ... err... molesting the other.
Looks more like something industrial then something you should be afraid off.

Ballsy move! Would had expected same way they did on stabber. I think this is first time they change the whole hull but I like it for its ugliness.

Piece of art imo

The Thrasher is one of the few smaller ships in the Minmatar inventory that didn't look like ****. If anything leave the Thrasher as it is and work on remodeling Minmatar frigates. Literally every Minmatar frigate except the Rifter looks like ass.

This new concept looks like a Caldari ship with solar panels tacked onto it. It's not very Minmatar at all.

I too don't care much for the new Thrasher, it seems too far removed from the original to share the same name. And out side of the solar panels it doesn't seem to fit the bill to be called Minmatar. In fact as some others have pointed out it seems more like an industrial ship than a combat ship.

Just my two cents.

I actually think it looks beautiful.
An earthly look, alot of fins / sails and the booster rockets is a good step, making minmatar ships (definitely the smaller ships) look different from the other race´s ships (if they keep it to minmatar ships), a bold and strongly new design, i would say it fit´s Minmatar excellent, it looks how Minmatar would actually look in the future.
Im pleased with the design.

I love the new thrasher, putting aside the ship on a ship. Whichever artist came up with the idea that *adding something ugly* to a good looking ship makes it beautiful, was wrong.

Thrasher would be gorgous without that tumor on top. Like that though, please imprison respective artist.

Yeah I kinda like the cone-shaped booster rocket thrusters too. Its primitive, unstable, and violent looking in comparison to the more futuristic thrusters. Propulsion through brute force. Makes Minmatar look like the Reavers of the EVE universe.

The thrasher and probe look nice, but neither resemble technology followed by Stabber/Vagabond and Panther.

They do resemble Caldari designs - high tech, maybe utilitarian, and slightly old in Minmatar cases. The Stiletto is perfect IMO - minimalistic, but functional. I think the probe should lose some surfaces from the main body (thrusters are a perfect match, and the new solar panels are nice, as well as the command bridge thingy in the front - very reminiscent of Huggin/Vargur).

The designs are nice, but you can't sell that thrasher design as a Minmatar effort result by simply slapping some brown and rust on it.

Also there is A LOT going on on the Thrasher. Loads of detail that seems arbitrary. Arguably so on the Stiletto, but the minimalistic look offsets that.

Design B from here looks best IMO. Its recognisable, the concepts don't have a lot of detail, its minimalistic enough to sell it as Minny.

Current trend seems to be inspired by Soviet and/or WW2 trains.

New design looks spectacular in my opinion. I'd love to see this pushed through as is.

No, this goes way deeper than art. The top is detachable, and functions like the old saucer section in Star Trek. Your pod's inside the top section; you can uncouple it and engage a secondary tier of weapons and mods if you're about to get blown to bits...sacrificing the bottom half which you would need to buy and fit again if you separate.
