As someone who owes the Gallente no favours and has examined their military capability in quite some detail, I don't think you could take them. I'm pretty sure you could absolutely savage their fleet, but it would be at the cost of utterly destroying any force you committed short of one large enough to leave you horribly open to Minmatar attack.

And don't expect the State to join you in a war of aggression.

"Gross intolerance of stupidity, a rather short temper, and aversion to political BS jargon" seems to be your short comings in the diplomatic department..... at least, that's what I noticed the short time I was there. (Dat corp mail box tho, it could get intense...)

"Arrogance, **** waving, and stupidity" seem to be their's.

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.
