To be fair on the OP Mobile Jump Drive seem like they should be the same as Mobile depots and Such. It's easy to look at them and go, Like sorta like MTU.

Safeties of course you can avoid the situation entirely. If you're in Highsec your safety should be green or yellow anyways unless you're ganking.

Dude read the thread ....

Even with a yellow safety GATE GUNS WILL FIRE ON YOU, YOU WILL GIVE OWNER A KILLRIGHT AND LOSE SEC STATUS IF YOU SHOOT A MOBILE JUMP UNIT.

Thats the entire point of this thread btw, nice reading ability

Yellow safety = fun safety. All your questions regarding what happens to you answered immediately upon trying to activate a weapon on the deployable.
If it says NO and wont let you, then you know it's CONCORD protected.

But the gateguns still fire
But still give killright
But still lose sec status...

Wtf cant people understand the issue here?

This os lile the 3rd or 4th thread on this topic in past several months too cuz of "no bug talk rules"

NOW WE CANT TELL ABOUT GM CORRESPONDES BUT I CAN PROMISE YOU ALL IF YOU PETITON THIS YOU WILL GET YOUR SEC STATUS BACK AND THE KILLRIGHT TAKEN AWAY FROM THE GUY.

I really dont know why some random gm cant be like hey boss, seems like we got a few bug reports/petition on this same topic past 6months, should we fix it and release a statement on it?

ISDS PLEASE GET FALCON/CCP TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AND GET IT FIXED. YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE. YES IT HAS BEEN BUGREPPRTED SEVERAL TIMES. NOTHING COMES OF IT. GMS JUST HANDLE IT ON CASE BY CASE BASIS.

ISDS PLEASE GET THIS FIXED ONCE AND FOR ALL

ISDs do literally nothing and CCP doesn't give a flying crap about crimewatch.

Expect it to be fixed never.

Funny, but you can shoot the micro jump unit with the safety set to yellow and will still get the criminal penalties, even when you only obtain a suspect flag.

Due to not having personally ever shot at one of these I did not know about the killright and sec status loss.
I was under the assumption that those kind of things generally happened when you did things that inspired the wrath of CONCORD.

I learn new stuff now and then.
+1 to Hengle for simply stating the matter without the use of CAPS and a vaguely Faux News like approach to the matter.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Hmm, surprised when I logged in and noticed my kill-right had disappeared.
Somebody actually read this?
Cool

Nobody in CCP plays or tests the game enough to understand this mechanic. It's another broken feature will never be fixed.
