I was introduced to EVE by a friend in 2010 (5 years ago), and he happened to be in Sturmgrenadier at the time so not giving much thought about it I applied to join simply by the fact I knew someone in the corp.

Slightly over a week of joining the game, I was in a corporation surrounded by veterans that had been playing since the game was developed, and others like me that had just joined the game. I asked questions and I got swift answers, if I made a mistake there was someone there to correct me, if I lost something there was someone there to assist me, the SG members took me under their wing and set me on the right path.

5 years later, I'm blowing sh*t up in 0.0 and have never been in another member corporation. I have been with these guys through the good and bad, and my commitment has not wavered, commitment to the very end... LONG LIVE STURMGRENADIER!

EVE is meant to be played in 0.0. Watching the wrecks of opposing ships burn is a familiar site with SG. You can fly in an alliance fleet and destroy the enemy with overwhelming force, and harass opposing forces single-handily for additional satisfaction.
