Nerf to fleet warps incoming

Just confirmed in the o7 show, fleet warps will be restricted to targets all fleet members could individually warp to like gates, celestials. For random locations, probe results and individual bookmarks you have to send the "knowing" ship there first.

What do you think?

I think CCP is outdoing themselves on unnecessary changes. So, someone has probed down a wormhole and it's bm'ed, FC cant warp the fleet to it? Come on. Pro prober in fleet gets a result on an enemy fleet 200km away, cant warp fleet to them? I honestly dont see what the point of these changes are.

Speaking of wormholes and I know CCP wont straight out agree with me, I dont think they ever meant for people to live in them and treats them as such.

I think if the bookmark is in Corp bookmarks it should be ok (as long as your fleet is composed of Corp members only).

NPSI fleets will be slowed down by this which is kind of a shame.

We don't have full details yet, so will be interesting to see the devblog and the threadnaught comments thread that will follow.

Why? Just send the prober in on range cloaked, warp the fleet on range to the prober and then down to the hole ... daily business in NPSI fleets.

It should be noted that he was the same fellow pushing for jump fatigue changes.

I'm trying to understand what these changes are accomplishing (I'm well aware of what the wishful thinking meta is).

Some of us would prefer that they ripped fleets out of the game entirely. Why should lemmings get a buff and tactically proficient players be punished with features like "Right Click -> Blob Warp"?

Basically it's meta gaming against bombers. Usually form people who don't understand that bombers keep some potential null fleet doctrine madness in check.

Its like how people stupidly get rid of some predator in real life then act all surprised when their homes get over run by frogs or something.

Command channeling would be good, FC broadcasts to Wing commanders , who then rebroadcast to which ever group they want to do it

If set up right could be beneficial to greater FC control and would add strength to headshotting fleet command positions, make the people in those groups need to think a bit more rather than one person broadcast and then the whole fleet press F1
