Recently my computer has crashed twice forcing me to rebuild my entire overview including the window placement.
How great would it be if all your windows and positions were saved on server, so all you have to do is sign in on another computer and set aspect ratio?

I'm sure alot of you have had this problem and i hope CCP sees this and considers my idea.

I would hate this if it was mandatory.

I run different overviews and window configurations on each of the 3 computers I play on, and one computer, I have 7 screen configurations for which combination of the 3 screens I am using that day.

Well i would love it if it was easier to extract the local settings... You can set them on a server yourself somewhere without many problems.

That way it'd also be alot easier to keep your alts updated if you fiddle with the setting of one of your accounts...

Not mandatory, but server saved window layouts, allowing you to pick which layout you want kind of like the current overview tab saves.

The core_user_xxxxx.dat and core_char_xxxxx.dat files are usually in the range of 250-750Ko size, total.

Its not like if it was a big deal to store it somewhere server-side...

Yea and you'd be able to share it to other players by dragging from a menu.
