Standing grinding for Amarr trade hub

Hi.

I'm looking for some advice on the best way to grind standing for an Amarr station trader. (I've posted in the mission section as all my previous posts elsewhere about standings have always been moved here)

I have found a great little spot for courier missions which is racking up my Faction standing but is not touching my Corp standing and of course.... I need both.

However the Emperor Family faction are very thin on the ground when it comes to Courier missions that are remotely close together or at the relevant level.

For the first time I am finding that Corporation standing is harder to raise than Faction standing.

Barrak here is my Combat main. But he shares the same account as the trader. I do have another combat character but not as skilled and not likely to be able to do L4 combat missions.

What are my options? Any suggestions?

as your main combat character is on the same account as the one you want to grind the standing for, it might be complicated for you to use security agents for grinding. Nevertheless if you have another combat character, which might be not as skilled, still may be you are able to do level 3 missions with him. These are not as profitable ISK wise as level 4, but sometimes it might be quite decent option for grinding standing as blitzing level 3 are quite fast.

Another option for you might be to find a person who is offering the service of grinding standing for you at a certain fee. He's generally fleeting you up and doing missions for the corp you need standing with and turns in missions sharing the reward. As you are interesting in corp standing, not a faction standing, it should not take very long and the price for the service should not be very high.

Thanks.

I'll run a few L3's on my 2nd combat character and see how long they take.

With someone else grinding standings for me. Do I have to be in the same system or can I infact start trading whilst they simply run missions?

To get rewarded for the completion of the mission you can be anywhere in the EvE universe. You just need to be online and in the same fleet. And the one who does missions must choose the option to share rewards when he turns in missions.

Regarding level 3 missions, I suggest to check mission description beforehand to know exactly what you need to blitz it. http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=MissionReports for example might be helpful

Hey.

I think getting my Combat alt involved is probably going to be the only soloution.

I've found a decent spot with a L3 security agent and just two stations away is a SL agent for the same corp.... so it's corp standing all the way. Sadly though there is just the one agent for security so its going to be one at a time.....

On that premise, what is the best ship/loadout to blitz L3's? I have no intention of salvaging or collecting loot.

My 2nd combat pilot is a little more skilled than I initially thought. He has around 89m SP in combat related skills. So, he should be able to fly most things...... (famous last words).

I'd run Emperor Family Lv3s in Gensela, that way you get storyline missions in Aphend. A combat storyline boost is worth a lot of grinding. They have a lv1 and 2 in Aphend as well, so you can use those to get standings up.

Exactly where i'm heading. Just need to do SoE to raise standings and probaly some tags to get the L3's.

Just waiting on some replies in the other thread re what ship to use.

Sadly, despite being highly skilled, my alt is either cruiser or dread.... not a lot inbetween. and no t3's.
