Today I discovered what had happened to the former CEO of my Corporation, Starcatcher Deeds

In RL, he passed away on the 6th March 2015

Obit to John Spellman, aka Starcatcher Deeds

Anyone who may remember him, please think kindly of your acquaintance with him

We may one day dedicate some kind of memorial to him, he was ever a Miner in Eve

We will miss him

Didn't know him ... but I started my EVE career as a miner (on another character ofc.), so I can relate. Mining together, sharing profits regardless of mining skills ... good times.

This is a hard fact that you never learn untill later in life. You slowly begin to realize that as you get older, the people you knew become fewer every year.

I did not know Starcatcher but from what I read he certainly lived his life with courage and grace. Although he may have gone on before the rest of us, do not pity him, pity the living. Grief will certainly come but be glad because his worries are past in this world.

No matter if you knew Starcatcher or not, the next time you crack a beer, pour a shot, or light up a joint, say a quick toast to those who have gone on. One day it will be you and it will be comforting to know in your last hours that others will be remembering you fondly

So here is to you Starcatcher Deeds.
