I'm not concerned on there decision for this either way, however these fights should realistically be broadcast in some way. Whether that be through YouTube, or streamed live. Preliminary rounds can be just as exciting, if not more so in some cases, than the rest of the tournament. /signed

On an aside, I also agree with earlier posters with regards to the way this is presented. I can understand budgetary constraints, but this is THE Eve Online eSports event, the quality of the broadcast should reflect that. That's not to say they haven't done a pretty awesome job in the past, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

i'm guessing it's down to reducing costs, while I understand it is a pity as said previously some of the more wacky fits happen in the first fights

I'd atleast like to see them on Youtube. CCP Should see if a Youtuber wouldn't mind commentating over them at some point for some free publicity

The AT is also partially about showcasing your (in)ability. For some people reputations are made, for others shattered.

I watch all the matches before the finals on Youtube. I'd like to see for myself why 2 specific teams are facing off.

No streaming: too bad

I have no idea what this AT thing is, or why it being streamed is so important, but I will still sign this petition, nonetheless, just for the hell of it.

This is literally the most anticipated competition, show, stream, or whatever out of everything for me; especially since there was no New Eden Open this year!!!



So, sign if you think CCP should broadcast the first weekend (without studio obviously) and/or at least vet players and give them the tools to run the broadcast.


If everyone pays for viewing it I guess CCP would not have a problem ;-)

I would pay to watch Alliance Tournments, one of the best types of pvp battle about.

Why cant they just stream with no commentary? all it takes is 1 lovley CCP employee with an EVE client. And we will be happy.
Or even better.. im shure one of the ISDs with a cloaked ship in system would be HAPPY to stream it for us..

Hell I would do it if given the chance.

I'd like CCP to allow some well known volunteer player streams to cover them at the least. You have the resources at your disposal in the community CCP. Use them. You just need to bring them onto grid and have them sit in one spot.
