Sup everyone, I'm a newbro looking for some frigate, dessie and t1 cruisers action and was told you can get plenty of that doing FW. I don't have any PVP skills yet but I have a decent about of SP. Can someone give me some pointers on how you go about getting started? The ships I can use with max or near max skills are: Slicer, Dragoon, Confessor, Maller, Thrasher, and Svipul. Also can someone tell me if the isk you can make is higher then doing level 4 SOE missions, if so how much? Any help is appreciated.

Try copy-pasting that into the Warfare & Tactics sub-forum.

Edit: have fun!

1. You will have to use stealth bomber to make more ISK with FW, than with regular L4 in high sec. And it will be L4 missions again - so no real player interaction unless you get ambushed. When ppl speak about earning ISK in FW they also mean plexing, but PvP newbee will have hard time to survive in PLEX. So plexing is not more efficient way for newbee , than L4 SoE security missions.
2. If you are not looking for ISK but for some action - FW is the best place where you get it. If you fly solo you will get fights more often but they all will end with you loosing your ship. With couple of exceptions of cause (lucky to run into same newbee). Simply because FW systems are full of pirates, who knows who is flying what and how. When they will see newbee like you - they will attack. And be sure they will bring better ships or couple of friends with them. Cause biggest part of PvP skill in Eve is to know when to atttack and when to run. If pirates will see even small chance they can lose - they will not come. Thats why you will get much less fights flying in fleets. Or they will come but with fleet so strong, that your fleet commander will order you to run away.

TL;DR: FW is the right place to go. Solo means certain death but a lot of action, fleet mean you can survive but will be lucky with one or two fights per hour.

Thanks Erg, what do you mean you can make more isk usng stealh bombers? I thought they remove cloak in FW, so how is using them better then using a slicer?

Not in the FW mission sites. If you are in one of the plexes, you can't cloak within 30km of the timer.

I see, it seems that there's a lot more that I need learn about before I start doing this, Thanks Estella.

P.S. actually I do have 2 alts that I'm training for stealth bombers, do you happen to know a FW fit for them (Manticores)?
