How to remove "optional" decryptor from Invention?

I have selected a BPC and clicked the Invention icon. I have all inputs.

At this point I can just hit the Start button and T2 blueprints will be produced.

Or I can select from various decryptors to see what the effects are (and some are quite good, though costly).

But having cycled through the decryptors, I decide to just invent without any.

How to unselect a decryptor (and not select another)? Or is it a trap?
