There is a significant delay in the graphics loading when viewing an item - up to 10 seconds on my system. Even the graphics of ships drones etc in the hangar is sloe.

I've started and closed and restarted the launcher now about 5 times, but play button is still grayed out and launcher doesn't show any update ocurring. I've noticed that I download *sth*... let's hope it's the patch.

Minor bug (I think), if I hover the mouse pointer over the icon for a Cosmic Anomaly while in space I get a pop up bar with details of the anomaly but the final topmost ‘square’ is just solid grey with nothing there. Should it have some sort of icon or something?

I get this regularly with Eve on loading and resolve it by connecting through a faster server if available. But this graphics lag is worrying in that the new graphics seem to be even more resource hungry and may well induce more system lock-ups. We shall see.

Try running the game via the bin/exefile.exe directly. It's working for some.

It seems to work now. Waited till network was quiet again. After I started and closed the launcher about 10 times more, I managed to login. No idea why, though.

Another issue: repair tool does nothing, only reports an error.

Game not launching after today's update.
After pressing launch, it says launching but game won't start.
It shows game as Not Responding...so it's froze.
Tried restarting pc, didn't work.


Edit: it's launching now, but took more time than usual.

What is the real launcher version? My launcher did a strange update, now report version 884420, but when I start it I get running a pre-release version pop up. Is that right? I click yes, and it looks like that update the cliente, report cliente ready and now refuse to work...

Can i get a link to where I can pull patches from directly as this launcher is still not working cleared all caches and everything.. Getting really really annoyed at having issues every single patch cuz you guys cant test anything right

PS

This launcher is not worth the hassle if half of us cant get the POS to work

New icons are terrible, CCP trying to make the game look more and more like TRON.
POS kills aren't showing up at all.
Too much time spent on loading resources.
Ship icons look like the ones we had pre-trinity.

All in all, several step backwards and what are the step forwards?

Windows 7 x64 - Modern fast computer. 16G of ram, SSD, etc.

Unable to get any launcher to work. Stays stuck at "Creating patch 0.0%"
Tried several times, reboot, clearing cache in eve launcher, no change.

Tried repair tool INSIDE the eve launcher, No change.

Removed launcher folder, installed this:

Same problem. Stuck at "Creating patch 0.0%" I also now get the new error "you are running a pre-release version"
I am running 2.2.884420



Side note, i have about 6 accounts and the launcher has never worked in the last year at my work due to corporate firewal. Skipping to the exe has always worked fine. So it kinda sucks i will be playing less now.

How long did it take your client to start? I am having a similar experience and I've been waiting 40+ minutes. Resource Monitor says it's using 12% CPU time but doesn't show any disk or net activity for exefile.exe

I think im going now had to totally kill and reinstall the launcher and kill all my cache

Honestly you can shove this game and the 40 accounts i have if i have to go threw this everytime because you cant fix and test your patches

Not much of a bug, just something odd to report.

Downloading the update via the launcher is making my pc fans run loud. Odd part is when i right click on the launcher, like on the pic of the hulk and bring up the right click menu, the fans get quiet again a second or two later. When i right click downloading seems to stop altogether, but maybe the launcher just doesnt update the numbers.

The right clicking doesnt work 100% of the time, but it seems to work maybe 1 and 4 tries, and as soon as i get rid of the right click menu, the fans get loud again.

When opening the fitting window, the sound now cuts off early.
