Can we stop making a big song and dance over insignficant groups?

The way people keep making CODE threads here makes me feel like a nursery school teacher, "No. *Sigh* I don't want to look at that cat's turd you dug out of the sandbox. Just throw it in the flower bed and go wash your hands."
The next day / week, "No. *Sigh* I don't want to look ..."

I put Volt under my name during CSM elections, so that people wouldn't think I was trying to hide that Corebloodbrothers and I happen to be in the same corporation.

Wait, something I was involved in made it to GD? Does this make me space famous? Well, probably not, but thanks Mike. 75% of the playerbase is in high sec with 5% in null and the above entities make up less far less than the 5%. What is this minority so angry about.

Is it that they only want to be miners themselves where they live?

Don't be a typical highseccer and have someone think for you. Instead, read the code, and make your own determinations.

Oh role-playing is ok... most of the time, but there's this nagging suspicion they're RPing for S&G (and to keep within bounds of play).

I can't find the post, I think an ISD nuked it, in it I said (before the election results)

If I take a leave of my senses on any CSM election in the future, please feel free to save this post and quote it repeatedly. I started my CSM thread with the belief that CSM should be removed and having gone through the process, I am even more adamant that CSM is a waste of time, effort and money.

The way Fozzie is ignoring them, it is clear that they are just a publicity stunt group and a last resort for bandaid fixes / damage control.
