On API checking a member i came across this in a mail.

--

Dear students and alumni,
You have just witness the infiltration of your corp by a studen of James 315. I would like to draw your attention to the following information to enlighten you as to the things you did wrong.

- You left a stranger in the corp without an api check, or background check
- You let that person feed the wardecing corp intell
- Your CEO left because he didn't like the war. Why did you follow this guy in the first place?
- Your CEO appointed some random guy to replace him.
- That random guy didn't want to be CEO, and went to join Brave instead
- In leaving, that ceo handed the reins over to your awoker
- Your awoker is now ceo.

The destruction of this corp was the plan from the outset. None of you are having any fun. None of you know what you want to do in game. Let me help you fix that.

There are many corps in game that cater to new folsk that dont have a direction in the game.

Brave Newbies Inc. is one such corp. They offer newbie training classes and SRP for all fleet fights. BOVRIL bOREers Mining CO-OP is the mining corp in Brave.

Test Alliance Please Ignore This alliance offers full srp, and lots of free stuff for newbro's. Free mining ships. Lots of great people.

Pandemic Horde This corp offers the best FC's in the game, and lots of free training and ships for newbies

KarmaFleet Offers newbro's srp, and training

Red Federation Vs Blue. These guys offer LOTS of fights, and training classes

I will begin kicking people tomorrow night with the intention of closing down the corp. I urge you to consider your nullsec options. Not only is nullsec safer than hisec, it also supports it miners and industrialists. Frankly you will have more fun in a large nullsec alliance.

7o
-Wendy
P.S Anyone that wants one share from the corp as a sovienir, please let me know.

P.P.S Long live James 315

This what your glorious code is doing, this is what your pathetic James315 is doing. Well done CCP, you have created a disgusting theme where these people exists to make people quit.

Well done

Since the Code is a living, breathing document, it's not possible to fully enumerate all of the rules. But here are some examples of the rules, to help everyone get a sense of its spirit:

- Mining indulgences may be purchased for 10 million isk per character, and are good for one year, subject to forfeiture.

- Miners should strive not only to avoid botting, but to avoid even the appearance of botting.

- Bot-aspirant behavior is not permitted.

- No AFK mining allowed. All miners are expected to remain at their keyboards at all times, and are required to prove their presence by responding in local when requested by the Supreme Protector or one of his Agents.

- New Order territory is a safe space for suicide gankers. Miners are required to put aside their prejudices and treat gankers with respect.

- Upon being suicide ganked, a miner should congratulate the ganker on his success. A "good fight" or "gf" in local is customary.

- No excessive mining. Miners should not fall into a routine of mining all day. I want well-rounded people in my system, not ice-mining machines.

- Keep local clean. Miners should be courteous in local and should refrain from the use of profanity.

- Respect for elected officials. As Saviour of Highsec, I acted as proxy when electing myself Supreme Protector. Miners should respect the will exercised by the people when they made this choice.

- The New Order of Highsec continues to recognize The Mittani as the legitimate Chairman of the CSM. This determination remains the rule in all New Order territories.

- Prejudice toward minorities is not permitted. For the sake of clarity, this cannot apply to all groups claiming minority status, but only discrete and insular minorities, which are defined as suicide gankers, Goons, and others who oppose highsec mining.

- If a miner does not wish to purchase a mining indulgence, he may still be granted a one-day reprieve, if he is able to correctly answer the Supreme Protector's Questions Three.

- Red Pen. On my desk there is a sheet of paper. In my desk there is a drawer. Inside this drawer is a Red Pen. If a miner commits an egregious offense or series of offenses, his name will be written on the paper with the Red Pen. If your name is written in Red Pen, the cost of an indulgence will be trebled and you will be at increased risk of bumping.

And this is new(s), how?

Before code this happened. When code is gone and barely remembered it will still happen.

I find it even somewhat commendable for the awoxer to explain what went wrong and what a few of the many options are for those now ex-corp members.

So, rather than be satisfied with CCP deciding to functionally ban proper awoxing, you're on here to complain that people are allowed to join your corp with any ill intent at all, and trying to get them banned.

This is the kind of thing you can only post on an NPC alt.

I see no issues with this. The corp was handed to him by the rightful CEO at the time to do what ever he wants. In my eyes he actually did possibly the best thing he could. He explained what they did wrong to better themselfs and even told them how to proceed after their CEO's destroyed the corp.

Whenever people have problems with themselves, they have to blame it on CODE. The way you guys are complaining, you will achieve nothing except perhaps that CODE disbands because they have feelings too, and with the constant hatred towards them, it is only a matter of time until those chaps leave, and then, EVE will become extremely boring.

Everyone knows that CODE are scum. That's just a fact.

Someone getting into and stealing your corp tho, thats EvE! Lol

Best find yourself a new home, under some good leadership that won't abandon you at the drop of a hat.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Actually that email seemed decent. It outline the errors, and suggested a few good next steps for the soon-to-be-ex-corp-members.

I really fail to see the problem here. By the sounds of it that corp was pretty much doomed even without an infiltrator.

This isn't griefing because the act was not targeted at Players. But only at the corp.
Much as I find it a very lame thing to do, and oh dear god the spelling in that post. I'm not perfect but I do expect people to at least put decent effort in, especially to a large e-mail like that. And the hubris involved of telling other people what their experience of the game is is also.... exceptionally large.

But still, it's not griefing. If they had said they were trying to make the CEO quit EVE, then it is griefing.

As for the 'he told you what to do' no he didn't. A corp infiltrator there to spy for a war is basically impossible to spot if even slightly competent. No API check or background check would reveal that. Hence why all the Null alliances are full of long term spies. And feeding information to the wardec alliance is trivial to do without detection, thanks to out of game communication. All he did was splurge that everyone should join the Null blobs. Which.... is basically what CODE is really about, it's just a feeding ground to try and force people to Null.
