Hi all,

Can i find a list of IP-addresses or IP ranges somewhere on what EVE Online uses?
I'm in a network where the default gateway is not leading to the internet, thus i have to make exceptions based on IP.

Thanks in advance.

The most important IP address for the game itself is:

87.237.38.200, port 26000 TCP (this being TQ and the port the client uses to connect to and communicate with the server)

If you want to use EVE Voice as well, you can find a full list of the Voice Server IPs in the troubleshooting article on EVE Voice:

Awesome man, thank you for that!

Main issue will be patches, but that'll be okay as i can switch connections when needed.

Voice i don't use (well, ts3, not eve voice).

You should be able to download patches manually from the following site:
http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp

A guide on how to manually download client updates (should they become necessary) can be found further up in this forum among the stickied threads, namely here.

I would actually find this really useful as well. I have my firewall set up to block everything in/out that doesn't match a rule I specifically go in and manually create (I hate that "learning" stuff firewalls come with). This makes it hard to use any EVE Patch downloaders, or the SiSi launcher. They both make new executable files in the temp directory, in a randomly (seemingly randomly anyway) named sub-folder, so it's impossible for me to simply add the executable to the firewall rules.

If there was a list of host names or IP addresses I could add it would be much appreciated. Of course, I will add the game IP as well and already have content.eveonline.com.

Edit: To clarify, I'm only asking for the ones that have to do with playing and patching EVE / Singularity.

Thanks again :)

Just as a side-note, EVE Voice may not work properly if you're using an on-board soundcard -- the Voice Profiles (Personas?) don't activate. If you can't get Voice to work properly after updating your IPs, check that you'er using an add-on card rather than the on-board stuff.

For reference, I'm using a Dell Studio 540s, and I bought a USB soundcard, which let EVE Voice work without issue. YMMV.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

Guess I'm going to need to manually find all the IPs that are used when patching by waiting and seeing what gets blocked :/

I don't want to have to drop my firewall or come manually download patches because yours make themselves impossible to add to the rules.

I have a list of hostnames on another machine (Powered off, out of my reach right now). Tagged this thread as a FAVORITE and when I get the chance I'll pull the hostnames off.
