Almost Broken alliance recruiting corporations

We are a small alliance that operates out of null-sec, specifically Providence. We work alongside many of the alliances in the Providence region, including CVA, Yulai Federation and Sev3rance. Although Providence is generally considered a role play environment, that typically references to CVA specfically, as many other groups (including FLEET) do not role play.

We operate under NRDS rules of engagement, meaning we will never attack people who are of no threat to others, nor do we condone piracy.

As an alliance our regular tasks involve light operations against the roaming reds in Providence (of which there are many these days) and more organised operations offensively or defensively against the more organised hostiles in Providence.

Outside of these events, corporations are welcome to make use of the space for their own projects and profits. For some things we levy alliance taxes (corporation alliance fees), but this goes directly toward paying for combat ship replacement to ensure members have no financial hardship supporting alliance objectives. We are working on having enough friendly presence in the area to keep the space safe enough that it can be used by ourselves and friends.

We operate mainly in EU timezone between the hours of 18:00 - 00:00. Our primary language is English.

An NRDS history will help your application.

Requirements of Corporations joining FLEET

The main qualities we look for in perspective corps is activity, the ability to cope in 0.0, and some PvP experience.

  • No recent hostile activity in Providence and not being KOS to CVA (check here)
  • 2 API keys, 1 of the CEO, 1 for corp
  • NRDS - no piracy, ransoms, etc. We only kill hostiles ready and looking for a fight
  • A willingness to encourage corp members to be on voice comms (Mumble)
  • People interested in PvP with a sprinkle of PvE
  • English spoken, preferrably UK timezone
  • 10+ Active members (not alts)
  • Alliance corporations pay 50M per month alliance fee
  • All alliance members are expected to be friendly and helpful with each other.

These are far from strict requirements, but together they serve as a good measuring stick. We try to ensure that every group is both able to function both autonomously and as a helpful part of the alliance.

We have an alliance tax that all corps contribute which goes towards alliance up keep, ship replacement, etc. All corps are expected to be involved in Strategic Operations and follow the alliances Rules of Conduct, but outside of this we try to give players and corps as much freedom as possible which still being a cohesive group. We avoid favouritism and elitism as best we can - anyone corp that joins FLEET is offered the same opportunities as every other.

What we are offering

  • Plenty of targets to shoot at without 40 jumps of barren wasteland, we are in Providence - targets come to us
  • Small gang roams, camps, hot drops, black ops
  • Ship replacement program (SRP)
  • Access to allied intel channels and communications servers
  • Access to allied jump bridges
  • Mining fleets and boosts
  • Space to make isk
  • Mature, team based environment
  • Real life comes first, it's only a game

How to Proceed?

If you would like to have your corp considered to join Almost Broken, you will be expected to hang out in our in-game public channel EVE-FLEET for awhile, this is whilst we figure out if we're a good match for each other.

As we are NRDS, corporations interested (that are not hostile to the area) may also come down and explore the area without being a part of the alliance. Corporations with hostile activity in the Providence region need not apply.

Howdy,

As CEO of Lia's Lavender Corp. I am always on the look out to diversify our holdings. Null-Sec is number one on our list. Overall we are looking for access to rare ores and more abundant planetary resources. Hence my quoting your last paragraph.. Are you open to a loose affiliation and or alliance with a focused industrial and mining corporation?

Hi BlueJeff,

Do you mean coming to Providence as an independent corporation without alliance affiliation?

Providence is NRDS, yourself and your corporation are not KOS to cva nor can I see any reasons from KB activity etc you would have any issues in Providence. You'd be welcome to move into the area as long as you follow Provi rules. Once you spent some time in Provi I am sure you'd get to know people.

I can certainly suggest areas you may wish to set up in.

I've just posted seomting similar in a corp recruitment thread.

We've been here for 11 years, we've done fanfest a few times (and even awoke with an EVE tattoo), and we will be at fanfest 2016.
