Getting the ISK and do PvP for fun all in 3h is hard (I personally hate market stuff) ... I would recommend to split, do a week of relic exploration in Sansha nullsec (one jump clone), then a week solo PvP in budget ships (2nd clone) and so forth (or whenever you need ISK). If you are very good, you can fund your PvP out of the PvP loot. Also you should have an eye on the NPSI communities like Spectre Fleet and Bombers Bar to join a roam, whale hunt if the time fits (3rd bomber clone in Thera). But you should have your solo activities as backup if no fleet is up. The best is to have different options set up, so you always have something fun to do when logging in regardless when.

I'm my own NPC alt.

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

To the OP,

Trading isn't as time intensive as you think it is. If you have max orders with Wholesale IV trained (around 120-130 I think) You can log on for about 30 min a day and update orders and look for new items in that time, and it's plenty to make you some good ISK once you have good items and ISK invested. People go wrong with trading when they treat it like a job. It's fun for me (although PvP is more fun), so it's not so bad. But once you log in to do it because you feel like you have to, then it becomes really obnoxious.

As a side note, while you don't HAVE to log in every day to station trade, you'll notice that you have lower profits after you do skip a day. It really pays off when you are consistent.

Even at 12 hours per month, paying your sub with real money is still cheap entertainment per hour compared to many hobbies. Just buy sub then use your three hours to do whatever you find entertaining and don't have to worry about isk. It's a game for your enjoyment, after all, no stress on you needed. gl

There are a lot of people out there that don't live and breathe Eve 24/7. It sometimes seems that this community assumes that all the players only work, play Eve, and sleep. Some of us enjoy other things, have other hobbies, and play different games with the spare time that we have.

Life is about choices, so if you choose to do other things instead of play EVE, that's your choice. I have a family, hobbies other than EVE and work 2 jobs (one full time, the other is only about 6 hours a week) and still have time to play EVE.

You get to make those life choices, what you don't get to do is get everyone else to adjust their situations to your life/time choices. Thats really what this thread is about, it's "wahh CCP make the game different so I can have fun in a way I want regardless of any other considerations such as the entire rest of the EVE community".

No really it's not

You like to think so because of your habits of putting people down over this for too many years, but in my case it's not what I was going for.

You missed on the point ? Too bad, maybe take a bit of time off Eve and go read a book or something.

A twelve month subscription is 132$. For 300$ you have a main account for fun and another to make characters you sell on the character bazaar for isk in game. Given the training queue system you have to at most spend 3 hours every quarter in the sellable account, the rest of your time can be spent as you wish.

If you can't properly communicate whatever point you were trying to make properly, that's your problem, not a problem for others.

So tell us, exactly what is your point?

Clearly you're too good for us op. I'm not sure why you even wanna play this game. I mean, why waste your precious time to interact with some no-life, fat losers when you clearly live the superior life, being a superior human being.

If i'd give some honest advice for only being able to play 3 hours a week I'd advice you join a big group doing what you enjoy doing in eve, then interact with them in game, but most importantly outside game on forums and other games and stuff. Perhaps even irl. EVE is so much more than just in game content.

But then again... come to think about it, you sound like a condescending, narcissistic shitlord, so i hope you decide on the latter in your OP.

Clear enough ?

You should probably quit; if after 5 years your still not able to work out your own goals for yourself then in my estimation you are probably more suited to one of the many others games in which you have your hand held.

This is a game. If you don't want to play it, don't play it.

That being said. You would probably be happy with faction war. Faction frigs and t1 stuff is cheap and you make LP by fighting and generally doing the things that get you fights anyway. As an added bonus you also get a militia chat to troll.

I don't know your financial situation, but a plex is not expensive and it frees you up from having to worry about acquiring isk.

I'm pretty new to EVE, and only play casually (though more than 3 hours per week).

I'd have thought some lowse/null sec PI (I recently setup 2 characters doing this, covered all my costs in less than a month, it's all profit from now on - not huge, but it's there). once setup, that takes a minimal amount of time to keep going. I'd then use the rest of my time to run missions, even as a new player I can run L3s, with 2 agents in the same system.

I hope you find something,

good luck

with only lvl 3 skills in the scanning skills you can go out and explore!
With all lvl 4's you can blast through lvl 3 security missions over and over with relative ease.
Go youtube and search for eve videos if you have a need some new ideas on what to do.
Perhaps pvp of some sort too! Big smile
Eve is what you make it to be! Blink
