Where do i get the nestor chip? Does it only drop in null sec sites?

I have done several NULL-sec sites and so far I got a lot of chips, yet I have never gotten Nestor chip (only Stratios/Astero).

So, are there any specific sites/regions which drop them, or any NULL-sec site can drop it.

Nestor chip will only drop from Sentient Drone Battleships.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

I have not encountered NPCs lower than battleship in null, yet they have dropped only Astero/Stratios chips :(.

rare drop is rare. looks like ~5 trade in jita every day (plus or minus, I'm eyeballing it). and who knows how many of those are resells? Although looking at contracts for BPCs there are a very small number of nestor bpcs.

most of my null experience was out in guristas space and saw a bunch of faction spawns, got a gila bpc one day from a faction BS. although at current prices I suspect most of the gila bpc supply is from LP.

I've gotten two nestor chips while out in drone null (day tripping), cant say I've ever gotten one outside of drone space though. I believe I got them both from faction bs in unrated sites. Can't remember which ones in particular though What?

They drop from sentient drones out in the drone lands...
