Greetings Capsuleers,
I was mucking about on SISI a few moments ago and I noticed some very alarming things.

First of all, the new "complex" brackets for ships, drones, deployables and the like are indistinguishable now in moderate to large quantities. I could not make out what was what anything was in the combat area. Perplexing at best.

My Proposed fix: Custom bracketeering. Turn off drone brackets? Problem solved.

Also, the new ship class specific icon changes are unnecessary and caused severe disorientation and screen clutter.

Anyone else notice the issues? Or, any ideas on fixing it?

give players opportunity to either use new brackets or switch to old. optional let players customize if they want to switch some brackets to old style and keep rest at new. at the moment new brackets cause screen to clutter

I'm with you on this buddies. An option letting you choose between the new and "classic" bracket icons would be totally cool. I for instance find the new drone brackets totally awful and confusing. Please CCP, at least make the X for drones come back.

There has already been much criticism of the new set in the feedback thread a Dev actually started...from which they used exactly one thing that i can recall... they "fixed the pacman stargate".....supposedly, but it still looks like that pretty bad.

This leaves me feeling deja-vu from when they tried to make all the turret icons compressed pictures of what they actually looked like. That got recall'ed quickly and set back to the ones that functioned as "icons". Here's to hoping this is the same.
