So have like few hundred mills to spend. Wanna get either a Dramiel or Daredevil to solo pvp in.
Which one is better for doing elite solo pvp. (No boosts/prob lot of baiting in some backwater hisecs against missioners/mimers/indies)

Please state pros/cons of both.
And max skills minmatar and gallente btw

Baiting is not done with ships people know are dangerous, it is done with ships people think they can easily kill...

I know but gonna get a few and they are like presents to myself. Like toys. And gonna be against like dumb bear corps and dude we both know they bring their battleships out against assault frigs and faction cruisers often. Assault frigs are too slow, just wanna fly either of these two and going against dumb people so they will bite.

Omar in 3...2...

Hmm... Anyway about the only pirate things the bears aren't terrified of are the sisters ships,
the stratios apparently isn't thought of as a threatening ship which boggles my mind but hay, never underestimate stupidity.

Ishkur ,enyo, hawk are all fairly good choices.
the incursus will do if you're having trouble getting the bears to do more than stare menacingly but it has its limits.

Edit: battle venture is a thing if you want to test yourself but that may actually need links for anything with a drone bonus.

Assault frigates excel at fighting up a couple of weight classes, they're plenty fast for what you're looking to do , trust me.

Get a pimpfit stratios with geckos. Just don't be like me and engage a rattlesnake sitting on top of a depot.

Or you could probably do some fairly ridiculous faction fits for the Ishkur/Enyo.

Baiting in highsec has to be done in something non threatening that maintains the staying power and DPS to tank a few sets of light drones and then break a subpar battleship tank. For a dramiel or DD, drones are going to be a real issue.

If you must have a faction frig get a garmur or worm, both apply high DPS while kiting at high speed, with the worm being higher DPS and a bit slower. Faction DDAs x2 with augmented drones probably get you about 280 DPS with drones alone.

What about the Garmur.

That little beauty is scary fast and has nice bonuses.

If you're up against battleships class vessels you're going to have an hard time breaking their tank with a Dramiel since it has a pretty ****** dps. It can be done, but it will take time and the more time you spend on your target, the more likely backup will come.

So if you're really going to choose between the Dram et the Daredevil I'd go for the Daredevil.

I think something like this would work : http://i.imgur.com/IfFLYtt.png

Fit is very tight because of the nos, however i think the Nos is very important in case they have neuts.

Bulkheads are here incase you get neuted to death, you can still keep point and guns running with the nos but you won't be able to pulse your rep that much, hence the bulkheads so you have a nice buffer, that'll give you the time needed to pop their drones (remember vs battleships you NEED to kill the drones first. Once they're out of drones they're dead if you get a tight orbit on them they'll never hit you with their guns).

370dps with void, way more than what the Dramiel has.

No one fears the Dramiel. It's like the old rifter in terms of power.

For true elite PvP a Noob ship should be sufficent

Your understanding of the meta is nothing like a carebears, those are the people she is targeting. A vast majority of them would be a lot less willing to engage a Dram than if she showed up in say, an incursus.

I like the Dram, because it can give you flexibility. The Daredevil will spit more raw DPS, but depending on you fit will dictate the type of fight you can engage in and can eventually make you predictable with KB scouting. Dual prop Drams are dangerous, can pick their range well and I like the way they look more.

So the Dramiel is the obvious choice.

I think the dramiel is better choice for solo pvp. They are cheap enough and can be fit many ways. Dual prop is fun to fly.
i use a speed fit with mse and scram . Good inty killer.

dual prop dram is really fun, with hull tank for extra manliness.

I thought the alternative was to show up in *I'M DA BAWS* daredevil.

Dual prop dramiel, best dramiel. Even if you get scrammed and webbed, you can bail straight out of any 1v1 fight with ease if you know you're not going to win. It's also great for catching those kiting f^#*@^^%s. Also, projectiles require no capacitor to use. No cap, no problem. A ship with enough neuting power can turn off your prop modules, but think, if a dragoon with highslots full of neuts only has drones for dps, kill the drones, and there's nothing he can do to kill you.

Scram web daredevil is great fun though. Make it buffer hull tanked to add even more fun.
