Its coding. Plain and simple.

There is a gulf of difference between adding faction/deadspace/officer mods to the market system and building an entire system around a set of 9 ships that cannot dock.

So the issue is coding?
Gotcha

And Hanger size. They won't spin when in docked a hanger. Via Regular hanger or from within the CQ. They clip through the surrounding environment :/

Mostly because CCP was extremely shortsighted in just how many of them would actually be built. They foresaw them being built by and controlled by alliances, not (essentially) owned by individual players. I don't think they ever envisioned them being bought or sold the way they are now.

It's called emergent gameplay, I think.

Also, obligatory Death to all Supers!

Nothing stopping you from working towards becoming that claimed spacerich pilot...

But as for reason, being biased since I'm in the position I am, I can say it's a wonderful sandbox thing, something that would not have been possible with supers being dockable/tradeable. Even CCP themselves have used 3rd party services as a selling point in presentations of the sandbox.

Also in a way same reason as scamming is allowed, because it makes a more vibrating game play not set by pre-set rules and mechanics.

PS. Also nothing stopping you from not using a 3rd party. But if dealing with the wrong person it could become bad experience.

in that case it is very stupid to have 3rd parties involved in a two way transaction

supers and caps should atleast a simple trade system..

if not ccp needs to just get with locking the super/titan down to that person for ever

make them non-tradeable.

there no need for 3rd parties at all

I'd be all for first-pilot-to-ever-board-a-super be stuck there... But there would never be any awesome "I scammed/stole your 100b+ ship"-stories then...

And I for one absolutely love the stories New Eden has produced over the years, from the tiny 10m theft to the 500b alliance disbands and GHSC stories.
