Temars (TEA) and Openfire Help

So, I am not trying Temars mod with my SMF server.

Here is the issue. The SMF reads the group information correctly from the Openfire server. I see the groups I created using the OP control panel. I have mapped groups to the openfire server. SMF Group 1 to OP group 1, and when I use a user (that is a part of the SMF) it shows that it was a success. It gives me a user name like.... val_starweaver

but this user is never created on the OP server. i have user services running with all proper information included. The shared secret key is there, and the ip for the servers, localhost and everything is inputed correctly. i have also tried it without any ip listed, but I just can't get the user name to be created using Temars from the SMF to the Openfire server.

I would suggest try using the user service yourself. See if that works. If it does then it suggests an issue with your SMF server being able to connect to the OF server.

To test the user service works fine etc... try something like the following:

http://ofserver:9090/plugins/userService/userservice?type=add&secret=bigsecret&username=val_starweaver&password=supersecretpassword
