New Eve lottery Site that i made uses api to determine winner.

New Eden Lottery is a lottery/raffle web site for Eve Online.

It works like this.


  • each lottery has a cap.
  • Tickets are sold until the cap is reached.
  • Each ticket will increment the cap by the amount sent - the house cut.
  • If a user sends much more the the cap the cap increases and once all transactions have been accounted for a winner is choosen
  • winners are paid each night

I worked on it as a project to learn meteorjs. but it turned out pretty well it checks the api every 15 min to check for winners. so please give it a try and once i pay you let your friends know.

I don't gamble so I am not familiar with these sites, but is 100 mil really considered big money?

I am starting out the pots low as it's new and it's eve so suspect to being thought of as a scam. So i figured having it start small and then upping the next lottery as i get users that trust i will actually pay them. otherwise it might sit at one bil isk forever and i will never get enough players to reach the lottery cap

Well without the switch. the house takes it's cut of 15% of ticket sales so i make isk that way if the site is successful i will make much more being honest then trying to trick people.

Hi Jigg.


Two things:

You either need to rename your corp or stay consistent with your company's/product's name.
It's important.
You do not represent "New Eden Big Lotto", you represent "New Eden Lottery"


And that background image reminds me of a thread where someone spotted stolen artwork from EVE ONLINE.
AFAIR the image does not actually have much to do with EVE ONLINE, besides a few ships on it.

You might want to double-check that, unless you can be certain that I am mistaken.

So you are going to make lots of money being honest.. and then trick people to make more.

That is literally what your statement says.

Good points maybe i will change the logo to be honest i took the image from the eve fan site kit and i really just want it to look decent i am not a artist so i will probably leave that

if you say so. i was saying that the house takes 15% and will not ever trick people. I can't put peoples minds at ease either you try it and like it or you think it's a scam. i can't change peoples minds all i can do is advertise and try and build a group of people that trust me.

Winners will be post on the front page or the last 5 I am also willing to give out the corp api key. eventually i will have a page were all corp wallet transactions will be visible

So far i have one brave soul heh in the small lottery who bought one ticket

You're welcome. I bought a "big" ticket too though. I did use a capitol "B" in the word big, you may want to check for that in your script. Good luck with your lottery...

your right i will update my script to to lower case everything and i fixed your submission it will get added to the total next time it calculates the lotteries

he has been already credited with a ticket. Even tho the FAQ states that if you do it wrong your out money. it also states to use lowercase big. but it will cause less of a headache if i make the script lowercase everything

We need some more brave souls the small lottery is on;y 500k isk you guys can part with that to test it out. I need to earn your trust so be brave like Tshien Tze was and try out the small lottery at least it's the cost of a single lvl 4 rat kill.


Gimme a chance to prove I am legit. I am willing to take suggestions on how i could prove it also

In all fairness, Jigg Smog did IGM'ed me and let me know what was going on. It may take a while for this to take off but I do believe there is no scam involved. If there is, not a real big loss to me but it would be good to get a legit lottery going again.
