Wow getting to post in a reopened thread .... It's like taking down a Titan with rifter. You hear stories but u think they are not true.

As stated in the OP and implied in the title these are simply the guidelines by which most of the regulars of this forum post. We do so for amusing posts, a little bit of RPing fun but mainly for visibility and credibility. We put our experience out for all to see to give us the credibility to be able to state our experience to encourage other players and give others the benefit of our provable experience. However if we are to put ourselves out there so visibly we expect anybody wishing to ask questions of us to do the same. If they don't the community shifts between ignoring, trolling and giving terrible advice. not everybody follows this but the vast majority of C&P regulars feel similar to this. This entire thread had the purpose of explaining where the in jokes come from (C&P laws, Nitshe ETC). It's not an attempt to add rules but simply to show where our roleplay in the rest of this forum comes from. I'll probably add some of this to the OP later

And I respect that Noragen (your attempt to foster some fun and community with the "laws") - problem is that you also have to respect that not everyone is going to abide by them.
It's totally acceptable for you to ignore or give terrible advice.
Not acceptable to troll (forum rules) and to remark they should "GTFO".

You and some others, to a greater or lesser extent, seem very annoyed that I have dared defy the rules and continue to make a stand for alt posting. I am not trolling and I am not trying to annoy you - I just think that everything goes both ways.
If you can get your little mob to ignore and give terrible advice then great - but you should draw the line there.

If we can agree on those points then I will be a happy alt and you can go along your merry way with the least disruption

This forum gets given a huge leeway on what is considered trolling. Until ISD start removing Posts or mail me to ask me to stop posting that on every obvious forum ALT it will continue with the free advice which follows about posting with your main for greater community support.

PS as you can see it's hardly a small band it's the greater majority of this section of the forum Blink
