I am not 100% sure if the modules already fitted are suitable for what i am doing?

i am currently in Null space running a few drone and blood anoms and i found the ship to be abit of an anti climax i was expecting things to pop quite easily, with my current skills i am mastery lvl4 skilled towards the ship.
gallente battleship is lvl4
minmitar battleship lvl3 next in queue to lvl4

any advice appreciated

you seem to be omnitanked... bloods and drones just need em and therm don't they?

likewise for ammo, you should only be using em damage for best results. same for drones

remove explosive and kinetic hardeners- fit em hardner and another gyro- better tank and more dps

Honestly if you are using it to rat I would just shield tank and stack damage mods and tracking enhancers. At least 3 damage mods, Republic Fleet gyros are fairly cheap and 3 of them adds close to 100 DPS. You'll be more maneuverable with shield; let's face it if you get tackled no amount of armor buffer is going to save you so I'd think the superior speed/agility and damage of a shield fit would win out over the slightly superior tank and significant sig bonus of armor.

I have very little experience with null anoms and really only with Serpentis stuff but I can't imagine the rats will be hitting you for much out at 100k or wherever you're shooting from with artillery. Maxing out damage is your goal so 170M for 3x fleet gyros definitely worth it, and getting Minmatar battleships to 4 and eventually 5 is also important with the 5% additional damage per level.

That third gyro should make a big difference though especially if you go to faction. Shield mach with MWD or MJD is also pretty good at the proverbial "GTFO."

Also wondering what your gunnery skills look like, obviously you have large projectiles at V but having things like rapid firing and surgical strike to at least 4 adds substantial DPS, large artillery spec too, and you can get a pair of 3% damage implants for under 40M for even more DPS bonus. 3% surgical strike and 3% large projectile implants.

Mach's are autocannon shredding, shield tankers and should be fitted as such.

Lows: Use Faction Modules as much as possible to save CPU
3x T2 Gyro's
3x T2 Tracking Enhancers
1x T2 Damage Control

Mids: For best shield tanking results, try to go all faction/deadspace modules
1x T2/Faction/DS Shieldbooster
1x T2/Faction/DS SB Amp
2x T2/Faction/DS Shield Hardeners specific to what you are fighting against
1x T2/Faction/DS Invuln Shield Hardener

Highs:
7x T2 800mm Autocannons using Barrage ammo for max hitting distance (Although using Faction ammo will provide a better DPS/Range combo)

Rigs:
1x T2 LCDOS
1x T1 LCDOS
1x T2 Kinetic Shield Rig

Drones:
T2/Augmented Drones: Hammerheads

Implants: Slots 6 thru 10> use the best implants you can afford
Slot 6: CPU Management
Slot 7: Motion Prediction
Slot 8: Options are limited here. I chose +Cap implant
Slot 9: Gunnery or Surgical Strike (Gunnery +RateOfFire; SS +Damage)
Slot 10: Large Projectile Turret

Projected DPS and range:
- Using Barrage: 1068 @ 7.6 to 85KM
- Using Faction EMP: 1296 @ 3.8 to 61KM

Projected Tank:
- Shields boosted every 2.72 seconds @ 1339.8 hit points every cycle
- EHP: 107,080
- Shield HP: 11,650 (About 24 seconds to recover using DS shield modules)

Projected Cap:
- Depletes in 1 minute 6 seconds w/ everything on. Shields will recover well before cap dies.

This is simply a template and all of these stats are based on all skills @ 5 and +5 skill implants. Your results may vary.

thanks so far for helping me with the machariel

my skills are rapid firing will be lvl V in 5 days surgical strike is lvl 4 large autocannon spec is lvl 3.
am guessing 800mm autocannon is 800mm repeating cannon II i hope so as its the only thing i can find :)
have not gone for anything too blingy yet.

using this below i get 97k ehp 5min cap and tank of 325

Can a Machariel tank hubs and higher grade anoms inside 60k? I run mine with a cap booster and dead space XL shield booster for lvl 4 missions...is a large shield booster superior?
