Hey, last night I was in an unusual arconor/bistot site which had randomly popped up, apparently due to the upgrades to our system. I don't mine much but the index needed a bump. Anyway, I'm fleeted up and on comms when a KOS interceptor jumps into the belt, flies directly toward my mining barge and warp scrambles me!

After a momentary panic whereby I engaged a lump of bistot with my combat drones, ho-ho-ho, (well it is Christmas) the training kicked in and I alerted my corp mates to my plight. Whilst they re-shipped and set course to assist, I turned my attention toward my new friend who was rapidly orbiting me at close range, and beginning to bite into my shield.

Wham... I activate my warp scrambler! (who needs shield mods right?)
Bam.. On goes my webifier! (I know this really is cheating)
Thank you mam... I turn my drones on him

His shields and armor fall rapidly, and I look for his buddies... this time he has no-one to back him up... it's not always the case.

My first corp-mate arrives just in time to put 5% of the damage on before the inty pops! He's too quick with his pod, but its a nice kill... 'good fights' in local and heart pumping... all in a days work with the virgins...

Mining Barge 1 Interceptor 0

Mining in null can be great fun if you have the right attitude; trading ore to the buyback is a bonus!
