Plenty of material in our solar system to use before we need to go further. Ice moons, ice deposits on Mars, asteroids, we can make orbitals and use hydroponics, et cetera ad nauseum.
It is all just a matter of moving it around. However, it will be a long time before we are under enough pressure or it is profitable enough to start moving out into space. What?

Edit: The golden zone, size, water and such for planets are for places where we hope there might be life as we know it.
Silicon based entities are always a possibility for example.
