I could deal with this.
As long as they are over 150m each and have less ehp than t1 I'm ok with it.

If you have links to threads that are discussing a Tech II Mobile Tractor Unit. Maybe you could provide those links for us? I'm sure they would be of interests to those visiting this threads.

I have too many other skills to train. I'm working on advanced ship spinning lvl 5 right now.

As for the link you posted. If I have to use google to find a forum post because the forum search doesn't work, then you should expect duplicate posts to happen. While you're at it, how about you also use Yahoo, Bing, Baidu, and every site on this list just to make sure you found them all.

It's all about using the proper tool for the job.

Like using the MTU to gather the wrecks, then using a Noctis to salvage.

Proper tools used properly.

I disagree. If a player has tried the official search function provided here and it turns up nothing then they have done enough.
Requiring them to use 3rd party search tools to satisfy your un-reasonable expectations is idiotic.

If you want better searches then petition CCP to create a better search tool for THIS SITE.

The exact same argument could have been made against the T1 MTU, yet we have one. Rendering your argument invalid.

This thread is not about modifying the current MTU or how to use a MTU.
This is a discussion about a T2 MTU and what it's stats, and additional features(if any) would be. Please stay on topic.

Train another level of Reading Comprehension. When using a MTU to aid your salvage operation, you must still bring out a salvage ship to do the actual salvaging. So, using simple logic that seems to evade you, the MTU does not do all the work for you. Therefore, the argument of the same argument possibly being made against the MTU is, itself, invalid.

Your statements are riddled with assumptions. How about some stats to prove your point? Or do you ust roam the forums trolling?

When the MTU was added it gave pilots the ability to choose not to equip tractor beams to their Noctis. Due to them dropping the MTU during a mission or when they got there. This gave us a device that "did all the tractoring for us" so if you are against this due to the false belief that I am proposing a solution that will "do all the salvaging for us", think again. My Noctis skills are maxed out, just waiting on T2 Salvage drones. If a MTU were to have salvager on it, compared to a Noctis, it stats should be to the point that it could get two or three wrecks done in the time Noctis could do 20. If a salvager on a T2 MTU is of concern to you due to the AFKness possibility of use, note that advantage would be outweighs by the risk of it being out in space longer, as being more likely to be found and desultory before you get back to it.

We get that you are against having a salvager on a MTU II, great.
Do you have any idea/suggestion for the stats/ability of a T2 MTU, or is trolling the only thing on your mind?

As long as I can still uncloak and loot a wreck while its being pulled, I don't care if its T1-T2 or even T7. I must be able to loot wrecks, even if the MTU is on it.

Re-wrote that for you, as that seems to be your actual attitude.

I, as well, have good salvaging skills. I can use t2 salvagers and t2 tractor beams, but ORE Industrial is only at 3. That said, I can salvage 4 Guristas Sanctums in about 5 minutes, including warp time from one bookmarked MTU to the next.

You want a salvager on an MTU that will salvage 2 wrecks in the time it takes a noctis to salvage 20. Ok, my noctis can salvage 20 wrecks in about 15s. So, that's 8 wrecks per minute, or 720-960 wrecks over the average time it takes wrecks to despawn. Why would I need a noctis, for t2 salvagers and tractor beams, or even train targeting up to allow me to lock 8 targets, getting full use of the noctis' 8 highslots? Your t2 MTU does it all for me.

It reduces the entire process of salvaging to drop t2 MTU, bookmark MTU, then ignore it til right before you log off, when you go scoop it up. The impact this would have on the market is utterly staggering, because every single player who currently doesn't salvage, because salvaging actually reduces my isk/hr, will now have a way to get all that loot and salvage without actually having to spend any time getting it.

Actually, I posted those the second day, and merely provided direct links to them this time. Then again, you probably didn't bother to actually look at the links provided in the google search, just post in indignation that I went outside the official forum search to find what you couldn't on your own. Additionally, why should I label them in any way other then the way I want to? There is no rule anywhere dictating a naming convention for links posted in the forum.

Oh no! Someone disagrees with me! I'll hang out in their thread and repeat my self endlessly because I want attention... FTFY, since that is what you are doing. I'll take the high road and after this, just completely ignore posts coming from you. Unless, (and I ask you AGAIN...), you can answer this. Trolls are good at riddles.

In your opinion what would the stats/abilities of a T2 MTU consist of?

But, you are a troll. You even admitted it: Here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=5775902#post5775902

And just incase you decide to go edit that out. The post at that link currently says this:

Wonderful way to grab only want you want out of my post, totally ignoring all the rest of it. Thank you for further proving my point there. Notice, I never denied having trollish tendencies, I was merely pointing out how your primary defense against my arguments rest solely on your insistence that my point is irrelevant because I'm a troll. It's a bit like a child sticking his fingers in his ears and singing la-la-la to keep from hearing someone.

Now, stuff your righteous indignation back up where it came from, step off your soap box, and respond to the points I made. Because you missed them the first time, here they are agian:

Additionally, my position on this has always been that we do not need a t2 MTU. There is no question about what features it should have when we don't need it at all.
