Assembly Hall

This is a pretty simple one, but one that I'm sure annoys the **** out of many people.

Say you have two equal stacks of trit in your cargohold that fill it to capacity. You right click in the cargo window, hit Stack All, and the trit gets magically stacked into one neat pile. Easy.

Now try to do this in almost any other location; POS corp hangar, cap-ship corp hangar, fuel bay, drone bay, etc. If there isn't enough free space left in the hangar to fit one of the stacks, you get an error message saying that there isn't enough space to move this item. You have to pull one stack out of the container entirely and then drop it on the other stack. Why?
