Does anyone have mumble-overlay working?

Hello, I have Eve running on Debian Jessie 64-bit, and everything is just fantastic except for the mumble overlay. I am getting a problem very similar to the one described in this thread. The overlay is technically being shown, but only for a second, when the game is loading or the screen is refreshing from scratch. It also appears, sort of, when the settings menu is open, but it's rotated 90 degrees, stretched, and blurred.

So my question is a simple one, does anyone actually have it working? What wine / mumble are you using?

Stats:
Debian Jessie 64-bit
mumble 1.2.8-2 i386
wine 1.7.42 i386

Here is a picture of how it looks when the settings menu is open.

You can see my FPS counter in the upper right, but distorted and wrong, and the people talking at the bottom, but HUGE and distorted. Reminder this only shows up when the settings menu is open. When you close it you can see the overlay snap back to the "correct" position, everything looks lovely, but then the game jumps on top of it.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I'd be very excited to get a teamspeak overlay working. Sadly both are more frustrating than I originally thought.

Didn't test that in a very, very long time (actually, just after leaving TEST).

If you find something, I'd love to know. Always remained with the curiosity about how to solve that. My guess is a 32/64 bit conflict somewhere, but I was unable to pinpoint it precisely.

Mumble is native, EVE is WINE'd. Doesn't surprise me they don't behave much. :(
