Any recommendations for gaining standing with Amarr Empire?

I eventually plan on having a POS in .5 space in Amarr.

Which means I need 5,00 standing with Amarr Empire, as I understand it.

Currently Connections is on the training list to help with that, and currently I'm at 3,5 standing with Amarr Empire.

Not actually sure how that happened, mainly I mine and kill NPC pirates.

How could I speed up the standing gain?

I'm hoping there are some quest lines or missions or complexes or something else that may help.

You're not really repairing but the same principals apply.

The standing you already have were probably derived from another faction

i thought dropping a pos was uncoupled from faction standings a few expansions ago?

Having 5,00 standing with Amarr Empire still worth to be your target, IMHO. Cause it will unlock any non-R&D L4 agent. The quickiest and least expensive way of doing it is to run tutorial missions for all 3 amarr schools. This way you will not get any mission against other factions.
