Reprocessing and Compressing Arrays, I have a few questions.

They work in High Sec, which is where I'm thinking of using them, but I'm not sure on other arrays that work there, how do I discover that?

What is the process when other players attack arrays in High Sec?

What is the best way to transport them? Orca?

Can multiple users access them? Such as in a fleet, even if only one user at a time.

Any other info would be fantastic...

What is the process when other players attack arrays in High Sec? The person will have to declare war on your corp in order to attack any HS POS that you own.

What is the best way to transport them? Orca? IIRC, a few of the hauling ships (itty5 i think) can carry at least the stick and some fuel, then you can go get the rest of the mods

Can multiple users access them? Such as in a fleet, even if only one user at a time. I'm not sure exactly how the modules function within the POS.

Any other info would be fantastic...

They get concorded unless the attacking player's corp/alliance has an active wardec against the owning corp.

They're small enough to fit into a T1 hauler

If they're in the corp that owns the tower.
They're POS mods, so they have to be anchored at an online POS. POS and all its arrays are corp-owned structures and only members of the owning corp can use them (permissions dependent)

You could use intensive refineries in a lowsec border system to get more ore out of your refines.

Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Serving highsec, lowsec and nullsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX

a large pos chews through 40m3 of fuel an hour. in highsec you also need to have the charters (though i don't know what the consumption on those is) is running a pos to process ore really worth it?

You have to use your brain to make it worth it.

Find any moon with metal goo and it should offset your fuel costs. Anchor a small tower with a refinery (use a Gallente tower) and you should be all set. You can even anchor and online a corp hangar in a Gallente small to organize your minerals before transport.

In Amarr space the charters cost 5000 and you use one per hour, 168 per week.

So it's fairly reasonable.

If I knew everything about EVE I wouldn't be playing it.

The whole moon goo thing is another thing entirely, which I know nothing about.

I thought that was entirely in unsafe space or wormholes?

I thought in high sec we just anchored at moons and couldn't interact with them. Hard to tell, can't really find a guide.

Alright I apologize for being harsh, I forgot you were new.

Anyway, 4% (INTENSIVE refinery in LOWSEC) results in seeing much more significant yields because it's a multiplier. Every time you refine ore, you get 4% more. That's significant when you keep refining!

If you only use the POS to refine or compress you may leave if offline while not using it. A lot of corps only fire up the tower once they have something to compress. This saves a lot of fuel.

POSes don't really work like that anymore, since fuel blocks.

I used a reprocessing array in a highsec POS , I would take a freighter load of ore at a time ~ 1 milion m3. The reprocessing array itself only has one hopper so only 1 person can use it at a time but reprocessing is instant.

I took the POS down during a war and haven't put it back - doing industry at the station works for me and is less hassle - I do miss the TE bonuses but that's another story.

Unless you are reprocessing millions of M3 of ore I recommend you get +6.8 standing with an NPC corp that has 50% refineries and a Zainou 'Beancounter' Reprocessing implant. Compared to the 52% yield at the POS, you need to process an awful lot of ore to recover the cost.

Can't comment on the compression array - generally you'll want one or the other unless you are selling compression and reprocessing as a service. I think it works the same way.

The Beancounter for reprocessing is excellent, 1% to 4%, thanks.
