Hey, I'm aware this is a problem my side, but any help could literally save my pod.

As the topic suggests, I keep dropping connection/socket closed, though this only happens for EVE and puts my adapter to limited connection, with Windows 8.1 unable to find a problem/solution, forcing me to have to go through control panel to re-enable. I have an ethernet connection and it doesn't **** up for anything but EVE - the stranger thing being, that if I have an account open in a trade hub my connections stay up indefinitely (I'm assuming it's due to the constant stream of packets from local).

Anyone have any idea of what adapter settings I should **** about with, to try and fix this??

P.S. No, it's not the drivers.

Wouldn't say so, only happens for EVE; system was only built this year too.

I also got this problem, any other internet program/game works fine, except EVE Online....

Urban rumor is hinting somewhere along the route to connect to TQ, there's a dying transfer node. There's also been allegations that CCP has set the bar so high for DL/UL/Ping that the slightest hesitation will lead to waves of Socket Closed complaints.

See many older threads on this same headache for how it's gone when trying to get a fix!

been playing this game since the start , and the last couple off weeks if i can stay connected for more then 30mins i feel lucky , it only seems to get worse to a paoint where i cant play at all anymroe dc every 5-15 mins on all accounts , ive tried everything boght a new router resetted the modem, even tried those connection enhacing software things nothing helps , im coming to a point where i will have to stop playing all together
