I am running an animation studio working for the German commercial market. Here's our latest production for a new energy drink presenting the world championship fight with Felix Sturm tonight:

What's the relation between a energy drink and... huh... the Devil? Or it's some generic monster? What?

Looks really good. Nice job with the animations.

One thing that bothers me though. The energy drink is displayed as something that is ice cold and then a devil/demon wants to drink it.

Yes, that's a compromise due to lack of time. We had just 2 weeks left when the client contacted us for an emergency meeting because he saw that claw in another similar commercial we did for another liquid brand. Our other client allowed us to use the idea again. But I presented a concept for the boxing fight event with a red boxing glove. But the client wanted definitely the claw. I said that this makes not really sense but we will do it. I had another idea with a normal hand transforming into a type of a red HULK paw after drinking HEAVY 1. But this wasn't working for the deadline because we can't shift it due to the event on Sat.1. The risk to fail is too high if you consider the costs for a 30 sec commercial at prime time.

So we used a red version of the existing claw.

Good point. But I am pretty sure that exactly this would keep the brand in mind: "Why the hell wants that Demon drink cold HEAVY 1?" The main problem he is what I described in the former response. But I guess it will work to communicate the brand.
