I really, really want to get a set of these, but the preview images on the store are dissuading me. Are we getting the nicely designed poster images from the devblog with the backgrounds following the lines of the ships, or are we getting the significantly less appealing preview from the store?

I think they wont come with any lines at all, on the flickr album they don't have lines: Hurricane

But +1 one for noting the diferences

Please, please, please, whatever CCP goes with next for merchandise, affordable shipping should be a top priority. I've become spoiled by Amazon Prime. I don't expect 2 day shipping from everywhere, but if it isn't affordable, it's out.

Still no word on what we're actually getting?

Apparently there are three types: no lines, horizontal/vertical lines, and lines following the ship hulls.

Which is the exact poster I'm ordering?

Got my set, they have the lines as shown on the QmX page. Wish they were the ones with the lines that followed the hulls, oh well. Still beautiful.

I received these today, and have never placed an order. The shipper was "Quantum Mechanix" with a Canoga Park, CA address.

Any idea if this is some kind of scam where they'll bill me later. In my state, legally, anything shipped to you unsolicited is free to keep.

Anyone else get these sent out for free....is it some Eve promotion??

Update: NM - Some minion sent it to me as a gift. Like I have the wall space.

$39.95 plus crazy shipping for... wait for it... posters!

For that kind of money they should be numbered limited edition and signed by the artist's own hand.

I mean really...

I stopped buying EVE related merchandise after I got screwed on the Collector Edition. Which BTW doesnt cost much most than these.... posters???

Yeah so I pad for the collector edition at regular price buying myself a nice Xmas present - the Rifter USB is sweet as is my gold pod. And then literally like 2 days after I get it the price drops by half. F*** CCP - that is the last time I buy anything from EVE aside from my membership.

Even that is becoming less of a joy to pay.
