..I never get involved in patch speculation trading. Generally I make more profit by having liquid ISK, and I don't want to be the sucker that's holding the bag.

But by sheer luck I found myself buying pretty hefty amounts of the CA-1/2's and faction prop mods, for the purpose of margin trading.

Then the announcement came about the newest teiricide and the CA-3/4's.

Got lucky this go around, and more then makes up for the beating I took with the Pirate Cruisers.

Inventory estimated prices: CA-3 3.7b, CA-4 3.3b. Sell/buy CA-3 280/128m, CA-4 200/134m. I have to admit, I had a hearty chuckle over this.

Was thinking yesterday: do i should sell my CA-3/CA-4 pair to buy orders for 400mil? Decided to wait until tomorrow....
Lost 600 million ISK of potential profit .... Damn.... What can i make myself do right in such cases? Cry

One thing makes it easier to handle: when Collectors Edition came i made quite good profit trading these implants. So i could say they were free What?

and i actually wrote that its odd that people complain about loosing money , and still arent cashing out .
Why would you wait when you knew Everyone will get them ...
C3 and C4 were expensive cos they were only from "Preoder" of the collector , not even in collector itself , now everyone has them .

What do you think the price will go up to over time? Considering everyone got two, I assume a lot of people will plug them in and lose them.

Interestingly, the real opportunity here was not in 3's or 4's, but in 1's or 2's. Increased supply/decreased price for 3's and 4's drove up demand for the set, and thus demand and price for 1's and 2's. A few intelligent speculators nearly tripled their isk.

1's and 2'd will likely continue to go up over the next few days as 3's and 4's continue to crash, but the main action and opportunity is probably already over.

It all does seem rather trivial, until you see what it does to the Wyvern.
It's no HG Slave set, but it's the best we've got at the moment.

indeed, I offloaded mine before Christmas, for like 900m each, thinking we would get some more. I forgot to buy them back when we didn't and all of a sudden prices were in the billions, and I wrote it off, to not think about until I saw the announcement the other day. Although buying pirate BS with the isk wasn't the best decision either...

first thing when news came out was indeed selling c3 and c4 , but for everyone else was buying 1 and 2 . In jita someone (in this thread there is the name ) bought them all . I needed to fly around forge/osmon to get a stock .

But in any case it was known and even adviced here as advice for everyone , for those intrested the opportunity was there for 1 2 days tbh . Im one of those but i wouldnt call inteligent it was obvious .

Dont forget that bonus amplyfing the effect is considered for the set which is 2 Pieces , and not all four .
So for full 4 of them you get a really nice bonus its FAR from negligible . (and not only for shield caps)

Total Effect Bonus is 4.25% for a full set for each of the bonuses. Because each implant gives bonus to a different attribute, they are not combined like the T2 implant bonuses.

4.25% shield is almost close to 5% , we got a skill which adds 5% imagine having a rank 6 in that skill .
4.25% armor
4.25% capacitor
4.25% speed

The only thing which isnt "that usefull" probably armor for shield fitted ship and vice versa , it just adds a bit of buffer . But the other bonuses are quite noticeable .

So i wonder tbh now were you trolling , or just clueless .
