SKINs for Tech 2 ships

Are the tech 2 ships ever going to be eligible for skins? I would really like to have a Quafe Ishtar (can't stand the vomit green it has) but as of yet nothing for any tech 2 ships yet.

I want a colorable Occator. Occator is a great looking ship, and Roden colors do it justice. But a splash of color would make for a nice change :)

Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Serving highsec, lowsec and nullsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX

CCP has made skins for Marauders since Dec, but has never seeded them. I'm really disappointed they were not seeded with this big update, since they have already been made, and are in game items that are just not available yet.

There are skins for T2 mining barges oddly enough....

But I do want interbus Ishtars.

Yet the T1 barges, of which the procurer my miner flies is a member, seem to have been passed over. It's like CCP is actively dodging the ships I fly regularly.

The whole SKIN system is a big work in progress. The fact that the Exhumers have skins at least proves it's possible, along with that nifty browser based ship spinner that lets you mix and match ships and skins at will. So the basics are there, and I'd imagine that new skins will be released at a pretty regular clip. Hell, they could do 100 new ones per release and still not burn through all the possible combinations any time soon....and that's ignoring the possibility of actual customization.

While black would be cool. I see the stratios having a shark motif dark grey with a light grey underside and a mouth and eyes on the front.

I will kill whomever necessary to obtain a Kaalakiota Stratios and Astero. Would even do it for a Nestor....and I've never flown one of those.


What I'm saying is, is that I would happily give CCP a sh*t load of money if they made the above links a reality. I'd probably pay more for those three skins than I would want to admit in public.

Yes they are expensive and this is a bad business plan, I'd say 50 mil average price should be the norm with skins under 10 mil also... it's ok to have 1 bil skins, but not 95% of them... lol.

Apparently CCP thinks they are worth more than ~$1.15 (@ 50mill or closer to a $0.25 @ 10mill each).

From what i've gathered, the T2 ships won't get skins until they're all converted to unique models, a la stealth bombers.

This is because the only way to visually tell the difference is by their colourings.

I guess it's not as big a deal with the mining barges.

Oh. My bad. I misread. I thought it said SKILLs for Tech 2 ships, and mistook it for something EVE-related.
