Stupid Question: Are We Able To Train Signatures/Anomalies?

I'm quite sure this is a really stupid question, but if I can't ask a stupid question on an Internet forum, where can I?

I was thinking of how we (collectively) train battleship spawns in belts (if this is even still a thing), and began to wonder if there are other things in EVE affected by similar means. More to the point, is there any way to train an individual system/constellation/region, to spawn particular anoms and signatures?

I would assume each system/area of space has a particular spawn table, from which it pulls as to what's spanwed. So, similar to NPC belt spawns, is there any way we as capsuleers can impact in our favor, what spawns? Is there any correlation to system activity (NPCs killed, sites completed, etc) that directly impacts what we encounter in an NPC PvE environment? I know that one can impact to some degree, in nullsec, the quality of such spawns. What I'm asking, is whether or not one can impact it further, and in other space (low-sec, high-sec, wormhole).

With all the game's massive amount of metadata, is there a table somewhere that is in some viewable form, that tells us what we can expect to see spawn, and at what percentage?

Unfortunately no.

However I will say that from my experience I've noticed some of the Cosmic Anomalies and Signatures tend to have a higher chance to spawn Commander NPC's and escalate into expedition.

only really SOV upgrades can make pve better, generally the lower sec status you go the quality and payout is more, but so is the diffeculty and the risk

I believe the OP is talking about doing certain anoms, so certain anoms spawn. Kinda like you would shoot certain rats to get BS spawns/commander spawns.

My answer would be kinda, because once you despawn an anom, it respawns somewhere else in that constellation. It will not respawn in that system the way the rats do.

well upgraded sov systems spawn specific anoms, upgraded systems will always have 1 sanctum and a certain amount of havens

This is dependent on sec status. I know that in lower (higher?) true sec you don't get the sanctum, may only get 1 haven.

These have been great responses, thank you!

Regarding an anomaly respawn, do we (collectively) know how they respawn? So, for instance, let's take....Genesis as an example. Does Genesis have a spawn table (for lack of a better word) that says Genesis will always have X amount of anoms, and that X amount is made up of Y amounts of the various anomalies? So does it govern these anomalies through the entire region itself, or does it break it down further into constellations, or specific systems?

If we knew what constellations/areas had, in terms of what they can spawn, then in some fashion, perhaps it would be possible to train, by way of random algorithms behind the scenes, sites to spawn.

A secondary question, that is also as stupid as the primary. Do sites despawn once entered (whether the trigger for that site has been completed or not), and what is the timer for such despawns, and subsequent respawns? Or is this not fully known?

Nobody knows exactly how the Exploration spawn table works and CCP isn't telling.

The only info they've shared is that when a site is completed, it re-spawns in a different system. Personally I think it's Constellation based but it very well could be Region based. That might explain why some of the out-back systems tend to gather a large amount of sites.

All exploration sites have a natural 'shelf' life, about 3 to 5 days, depending on the type of site. Semi-completed sites will stay active until the 'shelf' life expires. Sites like Ghost sites are an exception. Those sites have a countdown timer that's activated when a ship enters the grid.

Since there's a large amount of competition in Exploration, it's best to be able to scan and complete the sites asap and be able to travel quickly at a moments notice. That means not being encumbered with having to move a lot of stuff with you. Course doing that means you'll have to decide which types of sites you want to pursue and then ship / fit up for them and ignore / bypass the other types of sites.

Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck to you.

It very much does indeed, thank you. I'll keep poking about in space and see if I notice any patterns.
