The 'new' map isn't that practical

Hi there.
I've just noticed some glitches with the new 'beta' map while I was doing scanning. Please forgive me if this has been posted already. See the followings:

  • The new icons are a bit out of place, I mean they supposed to point at a location but they actually way too contrasted and there is no real indicator where a planet really is. If you turn around the camera the icons grab your attention and doesn't really help. The old system showed exactly where the things were on the map. Now these are just static pictures on the screen, doesn't fade or scale with the distance from the pov either.

  • The icons are too big in a meaning of they can cover up some important details from the map, such as red dots of the partly scanned anomalies and so on. This makes you scrolling in and out in order to find where the dot is many times. Annoying.

  • The scanner probe icons are always on. Pointless. I/we don't need to see where they are positioned all the time. Moreover the scanner probe icons overlay the positioning node of the blob, so if you scroll out a bit too much you have to hunt for a gap between them to grab the node. Extremely annoying. Make them optional, please. (Same with the jump paths (yellow lines). No need for them.)

  • The new map doesn't support the 'tactical overlay' which is very useful when you are scanning down ships/drones/etc. I miss this so much. No relative reference in 3D space. Without the tactical overlay it is just shooting blind when you have to mix directional scan and probe scan. Disappointing downgrade.

  • The pretty background is a bit distracting. No need for that since it isn't a showcase. Should be optional too.

  • And last it might be just on my system but whenever you want to save a location while warping (ctrl+b) the animation is glitchy, in a short or medium distance you more like see 2-3 stages instead of a smooth animation. This was fine on the old map even though that was not totally accurate you could guess when to press the button, now it is pretty much impossible to be done by watching the animation especially if you want to save the location near to some other objects/points in space.

That's all for now. I hope these help you to significantly improve the map and game play.
Any constructive/helpful comment is appreciated. Thanks for your attention.
