I am not writing in order to rub salt in the wounds of those who have difficulties. I have been there too.

I do though, feel compelled to mention that for me this update was so easy, so fluid that I barely noticed. Good work CCP a step in the right direction. I hope that those of you with difficulties can soon find their solutions and experience the new world of painless updates.

And what of those who go to great lengths to make sure their operating system is keep in good heath?
Those who are very diligent with software installs to a point where they use porgrams like 'sandboxie"?
Who surf the web armed to the teeth with browser addons like 'noscript & ghostery' etc etc...

This IS far the worst patch EVER!

If the boot.ini fail was "SNAFU" (Situation Normal, All ****** Up") then this patch fail has to be named:
"FUBAR" (****** Up Beyond All Repair)

A week ago today I patched and STILL I have no eve online, it has messed my OS up so bad I may have to format my HDD.
