Yeah, I liked my old Avatar, but they changed the visuals on them and no way I am getting it back, so that's the way it is.

If CCP restores the old icon, it's like they wasted their time changing it in the first place. I have not seen them reverting a work of their own, maybe altering it, but not reverting it.


a recent example would be the introduction of teams and removal of teams....

Let's not forget the Salvager Icon. CCP had replaced the old one with a new one that could barely be seen due to it's grey color, not to mention it closely resembled a Weapons Icon as well.

After a while the old Salvager Icon was made active again due to player input / outrage.

I agree. Personally I don't like the new approach CCP is doing with the game. Graphics are fine, there's no need to keep changing the looks when there's plenty of broken or unfinished content in game that needs to be fixed.

Anyway, I cast my vote for the old icon.

that's the thing. Change for the sake of change isn't necessarily good.

People talk about how eve is better than WoW. I still get one shotted undocking in a frigate if there's a WT thrasher outside. It looks eerily similar to getting one shotted in WoW battlegrounds by a x9 level player when you're x1-4 levels.
