Does it do the same thing as the old one? Of course it does. So who the **** cares what it looks like?

The stuff some of you people come up with to whine about astounds me. Did all the adults who used to play, quit? Leaving only players born post 1995. It sure seems like it sometimes when I'm reading this forum.

Do you really need to ask?

Prefer the New Damage Control Icon crew checking in. Cool

The only way to make it perfect has to do with actual game mechanics. Which is to make it a passive module. So tired of having to turn it on after every session change.

Briefcase or not - that's not important. What's important is the new icon clashes with every single other item icon currently in game.

Either roll out the new icon style for majority of the items, or don't touch them.

FC I'm being visually triggered. Send help.

You are wrong and here is why:

By rolling out a bunch of new designed icons at once causes a lot of confusion and requires time for players to adapt to them all at once. Factor in split second decision making that is necessary in EVE's combat (outside of 10% TiDi) and you have unhealthy chaos. Instead of the player losing their internet spaceship to a properly setup gank with neutral logi and Falcon support - they now lose it due to fighting the new UI icons.

Sure introduce more than one at a time, but do this in small doses that allow the players time to adapt without massively disturbing how they interact with the game.

I hear they're thinking about changing the Rifter too... Twisted

I like the new one better.

Would also like to see more module icons modernized as well.

The new Damage control item is FAIL.

Replaced a graphic for the simgle most important module in the game with a horrible new graphic.

Bring back the old one. Or there will be, trouble.

Why don't like new DCU? It looks like Firs Aid Kit. An old briefcase has gone for good.

So you support damage controls being a passive module? Yes? I'll take that as a yes. Twisted

God the Rifter needs some serious love. Sure it is the smexiest frigate out there, but it can't just rely on good looks.

I couldn't care less about the DC icon...but for the love of Pete..make it so I can turn off that stupid opportunities thing. I am not a noob and don't need to see it. Even in the notifications it can't be turned off. Damn you CCP Straight

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

I'm on board with the new one, while I do miss the iconic old one the new one fits in with the rest of the modules far better.

As said in another thread, the new icon is too detailed and doesn't grab the eye fast enough.

Yes, please.

At least they let us not see custom skins.
Now, can I just not load ships and have elongated pyramids instead to show direction?

At least give it a bit of time before complaining, maybe it will grow on you.
