You're taking away the fact its a rare ship and putting it on the market for all the poors to get their sweaty little mitts on it.

Some people payed billions of ISK for theirs so they could own and fly a rare ship. As a collector this saddens me. Next you will make the Raven State Issue a skin.

Let's be real here. Death to Hanger Queens. All collectors did was take these unique ships and leave them perma-docked for no one to enjoy but themselves. Now with this change players can actually use the items without them sitting in some random station collecting dust for the rest of eternity.

I kinda like that the current mechanic of the golden pod produces unique killmails. with the skin system I don't think it will. I also question how it will apply, as pods seem to be a little wonky when spawning from ships. then again not sure it even matters as pods will disappear nearly instantly either through a squish or warp off.

The skins won't show up initially on kill mails. However CCP does recognize the players desire for it and will work to have it added at a later time.
