[CRHAO] Khanid Military Forces Spotted Along Amarr Border

As a Humanitarian Organization, the CRHAO sees it as part of its duties to report information on conflicts or hints at conflicts which could effect the Amarrian People.

A few days ago, ships belonging the Khanid Royal Navy were spotted a few systems inside the Amarrian border. These vessels appeared only a day after Imperial Armaments annouced its research into the Antikythera Element, which could be related. When questioned, Royal Commodore Arraz Nomarya of the First Fleet's Dragoon Attachment refused to comment, stating that the information was classified.

The returning message from Royal Commodore Arraz Nomarya was cold and concrete, with no more then a few words said, but however the wording did confirm the Khanid Navy was aware of this operation.

The group was spotted in a High-Sec System in multiple locations, and with quite a massive force containing a multitude of Officers, Generals, and Majors. There was also some small debris scattered around the system, although it could have just possibly been my eyes playing tricks with the Space-scape.

While this could just be a normal situation, and I hope it is, I simply wanted to make the community aware of the situation.

If the Navy says it is classified, why would you bring it for public view?
What is classified in the interests of the Kingdom should stay classified.

Yes, but is it not alarming that a Combat-Ready Khanid Fleet was present within Amarr Borders?

Ms. Hanaya, I suspect that Arcashiri is speaking as an Imperial loyalist, and one who views the Kingdom's recent rapprochement as a brief turn in a longer term of antagonism. That said, Arcashiri, the Khanid now have a presence on the privy council, so I'd consider them as full participants in the Empire's politics. For sake of analogy, would you be as worried if an Ammatar Mandate fleet were to be outside of the Mandate's borders? Admittedly, the Mandate is a subject of the Empire while the Kingdom is an independent ally who has sworn fealty to the Empress Jamyl, but surely you understand what I'm getting at.

The Kingdom is a highly-valued ally, and an important part of The Greater Amarria.

I would be the first to cheer to see such a fleet in the field. The more the better.

Speaking as a retired Khanid officer...

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Indeed, sounds like a standard fleet deployment. Next time, I'd suggest naming the thread:

Technically, they do have a seat on the Privvy Council... I suppose it'd be easy for Khanid II to arrange military access for any number of reasons.

My grand aunt is Admiral Makkal Hanaya (the Elder), my family served in the Khanid Royal Navy back when it was part of the Imperial Navy, and my homeworld is in a boarder system that has switched between lawful Khanid possession and Imperial occupation a number of times since the formation of the Kingdom.

If the KRN wished to aggress the Empire, we wouldn’t do so by idly wandering through their space. That would be stupid. We’d invade without warning when the Imperial Navy was occupied elsewhere.

Not that this would ever happen. The Khanid cherish our alliance with our brothers and sisters of the faith.

Out of curiosity, in what system(s) did you see the fleet?

Render unto Khanid the things which are Khanid's; and unto God the things that are God's.
