And are CCP taking this issue seriously?

It's called DDoS attack. Wiki helps.
Also people report issues in general, unrelated to EVE.

Discussion is pointless, as most people are not educated about
the mattsr and just post things that are far from how it works ...
... next to people who only spread hate.
