I thought I saw a guy wearing the 'monochrome' impact jacket yesterday somewhere on the forum.

Does anyone know if it has been released somewhere in limited numbers ? It's not on the NES store yet.

Yes I'm going to help you, I know the answer.

The OP of that thread has probably seen Max Singularity. He's been wearing that jacket around these forums like a player.

I don't know for sure, but I do know he won the cosplay contest at Fanfest. Perhaps it was one of the gifts he received? I don't know, but that is the only place I have seen that jacket around here.

It was his Grand Prize award for winning the EVE Fanfest 2015 Cosplay competition. It along with the Strider Pants 'Monochrome', March Boots 'White' and Tectonic Headwear 'White' are currently the only released copies of those items in the game.

As to whether or not he would be willing to part with them.

Completely understandable.

On a related note for men's apparel: The 'Form' Shirt (Dark Red) and 'Street' Shirt (Green Camo) and (Brown Camo) were awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each daily cosplay competition at Fanfest. Therefore there are only 3 copies of each of those in game at the moment as well.

Hopefully we'll get to see these released to the rest of us at a later date, but they could remain exclusive rewards to those dedicated EVE fans.

I wear these one of a kind in-game garments as the White Papal Robes in Eve to be humbled and remind me daily of the community that took this 55 year old man, gave him undeserving titles for LOLs, and gave me the best on-line and Fanfest experience one could ever wish for. Oh my associate Celgar will not be happy now. He has been waiting for that white suit to be released on the NES store for ages since it was first added to the database quite a while ago. Given that it was given to Max Singularity for his excellent costumes I suspect CCP will not release the white set now.

I just checked the link to the grand prize link. That white set looks extremely smart. Celgar always said everyone and their cat would be wearing it if it was ever released on the NES store. The red SOE jacket looks very shiny as well........ Oops
